We specialize in the remediation, enforcement, monitoring, reporting, and change tracking of over 1500 CIS Benchmarks. In my role, I oversee the go-to-market strategy, sales, onboarding, customer success, marketing, and broader operational activities. My focus is on ensuring seamless integration for our clients, providing exceptional support, and driving substantial improvements in their security posture. By leveraging my extensive experience in these areas, I strive to deliver a superior customer experience that aligns with Senteon’s commitment to excellence.

Our platform's capability to make security changes at the registry level—bypassing the limitations of traditional tools like Intune, Group Policy, or PowerShell—ensures reliable policy enforcement. This approach mitigates the risk of non-compliance and enhances the overall security framework.

Education and partnership are core to our strategy. Through our collaboration with the Center for Internet Security (CIS), we conduct a series of educational webinars designed to deepen the understanding of security engineers and administrators about CIS Benchmarks and best practices. These initiatives are instrumental in equipping our clients with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Furthermore, our innovative learning mode assesses potential disruptions before applying security configurations, providing invaluable insights and ensuring business continuity. HOW IMPORTANT IS THIS?

The Center for Internet Security (CIS) Top 18 lists Secure Configuration of Enterprise Assets and Software as Control 4. CIS further describes this as the process of establishing and maintaining a secure configuration of enterprise assets and software. 

Baseline Configuration defines a Priority 1 control under NIST SP 800-53, which involves securing computers through system hardening - removing unnecessary features, configuring security settings, managing user privileges, and patching known vulnerabilities to reduce the attack surface. 

SENTEON AND ENDPOINT PROTECTION PLATFORMS (EPP).

Senteon's importance lies in working alongside EPP solutions to mitigate attacks at every step of the Mitre framework. Senteon reduces the likelihood and impact of various cyberattacks. Including Ransomware, Cryptocurrency Mining, Theft of Intellectual Property, and Theft of Personally Identifiable Information. Senteon makes your business proactive by limiting the ways malicious actors can take advantage of your workstations and servers. By deterring them entirely, or at the very least funneling them into more advanced, more evident, malicious attack paths that other security controls like AV/EDR and SIEMs are better at detecting and possibly eliminating.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Endpoint hardening is a long and arduous process that Senteon is one of the first to attempt to automate and make available as a solution. After using Senteon effectively, the risk of a successful cyberattack on your business drops dramatically. Still not sure how OS hardening fits in your security stack?
