The MSP channel speaks its own language. I’ve spent years learning its dialect, not from the outside, but from deep inside the ecosystem where SaaS founders either earn trust or get ignored.

I’ve watched exceptional products stall in the MSP space for one reason. Not because they didn’t work, but because they weren’t understood. MSPs don’t buy vision decks or clever positioning. They buy solutions to real operational problems, clearly articulated, in language that respects their reality.

Today, I operate at the intersection of systems and story.

I serve as Chief of Staff at Cyft, where we’re building Sam, an AI teammate that remembers service calls so technicians don’t have to. Documentation just happens. She remembers what humans shouldn’t have to carry. My role focuses on building the operational backbone that allows that promise to scale with integrity. Structure, decision clarity, and the quiet infrastructure that makes products usable in the real world.

Alongside that work, I’m a co-founder of CMND Media, where I help MSP-focused SaaS founders translate their expertise into messaging that actually moves sales conversations forward. No jargon. No buzzwords. Just clear narratives built for a channel that values practicality over hype.

LinkedIn needs a “Time-Sensitive” setting for posts.

Here’s the problem: Many posts are valuable only until a specific date.

Examples:
 “Come see us at Booth 123 next week.”
 “Webinar this Thursday.”
 “Applications close Friday.”

Before the date?
✅  High relevance.
✅  High value.
✅  High engagement potential.

After the date?  ⛔  Almost none.

Yet the algorithm continues to circulate these posts days or weeks later long after the value has expired.

That’s inefficient distribution.

We should be able to tag a post with a relevance date.

Before the date:
➕ Boost distribution
➕ Prioritize visibility
➕ Support event marketing

After the date:
🛑 Stop pushing it into feeds

The result?
Cleaner signal.
Better feed quality.
More intelligent distribution.

Time context matters.

This platform should recognize that.

Small businesses run smoother with simple, dependable, stress-free IT

LinkedIn needs a downvote 👎 button.

Not for punishment, but for signal accuracy.

Right now, the algorithm treats all engagement as positive.

Comments arguing with a post = engagement.
People expressing frustration = engagement.
Calling something inappropriate or low-value = engagement.

So your "negative" engagement is doing the opposite of what you want.

The system cannot distinguish approval from disapproval.

That’s a flaw.

There has been a noticeable influx of “creator-style” content and Facebook-level drama that adds little business value here. 

Whether you like it or not isn’t the issue.

The issue is this:
😓 If you engage to disagree, you boost it.
😓 If you ignore it, it still circulates based on partial positive engagement.

There is no structured way for professionals to say: "This lowers the quality of the feed.”

We’re all adults here.

We accept praise.

We should also accept criticism.

A downvote should not be public.
The intention is not to punish to shame.

It should simply inform the algorithm of our negative reaction to this content.

Every system needs both positive and negative feedback loops to be truly effective and representative. 

Right now LinkedIn only has one.

Please stop showing me posts about Meta / Ray-Ban Glasses.  

The first 150 were enough. 

Every 3rd post in my feed is about this.  

It's nauseating.

Backups don’t save businesses.

Recovery saves businesses.
 
A backup is just a 𝘤𝘰𝘱𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘢.

A recovery plan answers the real questions:

 1️⃣ How fast can we restore?
 2️⃣ What systems come first?
 3️⃣ Who’s responsible for what?
 4️⃣ What does the team do during downtime?
 5️⃣ Can we prove it works?

Most companies have backups.

Far fewer have tested or proven recovery.

> Undefined accountability

In fact, it will amplify those problems.
