I used to set myself these huge goals.
I’d work on them for a few weeks,
and then give up.

I always wondered why I couldn’t stick to them.

But now I know…

I didn’t have the right systems in place.

To achieve anything in life
you have to make it easy for yourself.

Let’s use running as an example.

Goal: run a sub-4 marathon.

How I’m going to achieve that:

→ 1 long run per week
→ 1 easy run per week
→ 1 interval run per week
→ 2 strength sessions per week

If I left it there and had no SYSTEMS in place to get those things done, it would be very difficult for me to stick to the plan.

So then I think, how do I make this EASY:
(AKA my systems)

→ Meal prep to fuel my runs properly
→ Schedule my training in my calendar
→ Track my progress to stay motivated
→ Lay out my running gear the night before
→ Have a backup indoor plan for bad weather

This can be applied to any situation.

Whenever you have a goal, ask yourself:
“How can I make this EASY”.

Don’t rely on motivation to achieve your goals.
Trust me, it won’t work (I’ve tried).

Storytelling content (Before&After)-Part 32

Posting less doesn’t mean losing your brand.

But most founders think it does.

If you’re a fintech founder posting 2–3 times a week instead of daily, you’ve probably felt this fear before. 

You’re building a serious company, juggling growth and fundraising, and every missed post feels like momentum slipping away.

You slow down.
The feed keeps moving.
And you start thinking your brand is fading.

So you push yourself to post more.

Even when you’re tired.
Even when there’s nothing meaningful to say.

That’s where things break.

Because when frequency becomes the goal, integrity disappears.

Because of that: what it unlocked

Then: We were losing deals because prospects didn’t trust a young SaaS brand.
Now: We shared the real story behind why we built the product
Because of that: Warm intros replaced cold pitches

Same company.
Same product.

Different impact.

Contrast gives your story weight.
It shows growth without bragging.

And it helps your reader see their own next step.

Skip this, and your content stays polite but powerless.
People forget you.

And opportunities go to louder founders with clearer stories.

If your posts feel invisible, it’s the contrast that’s missing.

Most FinTech founders with traction still don’t have a magnetic brand.

After working with 37+ founders, I’ve seen why strong products still struggle to attract the right people.

You post.
You show up.
You talk about what you’re building.

And yet:

→ Leads feel cold, not curious
→ People like, but don’t reach out
→ VCs skim, but don’t remember you

It starts to mess with your head.

You think maybe you need:

Those moments signal trust.

They make people lean in.
They make you memorable.

The cost of not fixing this is quiet but real.

You keep posting.
You keep growing.
But the right doors stay closed.

Not because you’re not good.
Because your story never gave people a reason to care.

If you want a magnetic brand, stop trying to attract everyone.
Start resonating with the right few.

That’s where inbound comes from.

Here’s what actually works:

→ Opinions that filter, not please
→ Stories that sound human, not manufactured
→ Content that sparks real replies, not emoji chains
→ Clear positioning so the right people stop scrolling

One strong post that starts conversations beats 20 likes from people who will never buy.

If you’re building a founder brand, ask yourself this:
Are you optimising for vanity signals or for trust that turns into leads?

Strong brands are built in the open.
Not in pods.

I see this all the time.

Real traction.
Smart founders.

And it says:

→ Hard to place
→ Easy to forget

So when investors, partners, or buyers look you up, they feel nothing.

No pull.
No clarity.
No reason to lean in.

That silence is expensive.

Because when your brand doesn’t speak for you:

→ You explain yourself on every call
→ You repeat your story in every DM
→ You lose deals to louder founders with weaker products

People don’t wait to understand you.
They move on.

And the worst part is you never know what you lost.

A strong brand does one job before you enter the room.

It answers 3 things fast:

→ Who do you help
→ What problem do you solve
→ Why do you see it differently

Not with buzzwords.
Not with long bios.

With stories.

The kind that shows:

→ What you’ve seen up close
→ What you’ve learned the hard way
→ What you believe others still miss

When your brand carries your thinking, you don’t chase trust.
It meets you halfway.

Your brand is already speaking.
The only question is whether it’s helping or hurting you.

Because if your story isn’t clear, someone else will tell it for you.
And they won’t tell it kindly.

I didn’t either. Mine showed up while I was cleaning my house and folding laundry after a long workday.

That surprised me.

My head was loud.
Ideas everywhere.

Deadlines.
Client work.
Content to ship.

Even when I tried to rest, my mind kept running.

And that constant noise does something sneaky.

→ You lose clarity
→ You rush decisions
→ You start doubting work you’re actually good at

I kept telling myself to push through.
Be productive.
Do more.

It only made things worse.

Then something unexpected happened.

While folding laundry, my mind slowed down.

No phone.
No thinking.
Just a simple movement.

And for the first time that day, my thoughts lined up.

Not a new tool.
Not a better system.
Not another productivity trick.

Just quiet.

That moment reminded me of something I see all the time in personal branding.

Founders overcomplicate it.
They overthink every post.
Overexplain every idea.

When clarity usually comes from stripping things back.

If you never give your mind space, you pay for it later.

→ Messy content
→ Weak positioning
→ Burnout you didn’t see coming
