SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS.

I used to set myself these huge goals.
I’d work on them for a few weeks,
and then give up.

I always wondered why I couldn’t stick to them.

But now I know…

I didn’t have the right systems in place.

To achieve anything in life
you have to make it easy for yourself.

Let’s use running as an example.

Goal: run a sub-4 marathon.

How I’m going to achieve that:

→ 1 long run per week
→ 1 easy run per week
→ 1 interval run per week
→ 2 strength sessions per week

If I left it there and had no SYSTEMS in place to get those things done, it would be very difficult for me to stick to the plan.

So then I think, how do I make this EASY:
(AKA my systems)

→ Meal prep to fuel my runs properly
→ Schedule my training in my calendar
→ Track my progress to stay motivated
→ Lay out my running gear the night before
→ Have a backup indoor plan for bad weather

This can be applied to any situation.

Whenever you have a goal, ask yourself:
“How can I make this EASY”.

Don’t rely on motivation to achieve your goals.
Trust me, it won’t work (I’ve tried).

You don’t need new ideas every time you post on LinkedIn.

You need to reuse the old ones.

I know what you’re thinking:

“People have already read this.”
“They’ll think I have no new ideas.”
“This looks silly.”

That’s a misconception.

If you have 6,000 followers,
it does not mean 6,000 people saw your post.

Most people:

Three years ago…

I didn’t even know what LinkedIn personal branding meant.

My days were simple.
Scrolling.
Chilling with friends.
No pressure.
No plans.

I depended on my parents for even small expenses.
If I wanted to go out, I had to ask for money.

Life was comfortable.
But it had no direction.

Then came summer vacation.

I saw a content writing course by Saad Ahmad Lone
Something about it clicked.

I enrolled immediately.

That’s where I learned about:
→ content writing
→ LinkedIn
→ personal branding

In September 2023, I started my LinkedIn journey.

Honestly?
I didn’t feel like posting.

Everyone around me was sharing achievements.
I felt behind.
Like I had nothing to say.

Still, I pushed myself.

I posted random things.
No strategy.
No clear direction.
Just posting to post.

Months passed.
I posted daily.

And got…
Zero leads.

That’s when I knew something was wrong.

So I paused.
I stopped rushing.

I started learning again.

⇒ I studied big creators.
⇒ Observed their posts.
⇒ Understood formats.
⇒ Learned how writing actually works on LinkedIn.

And slowly… things changed.

I hit 2,000 followers.
Got my first lead.
And then my first client.

They paid me PKR 15,000 per month.

It may sound small to some.
But for me, at 20 years old,
it felt like the world.🤍

My first money.
Earned on my own.

My parents were happy.
And I finally felt… capable.

Today, I’m more focused.
More serious about my future.
More intentional about my dreams.

People know me here.
And I’m still learning, every single day.

From my peers.
From creators.
From experiences.

The journey didn’t change overnight.
But it changed because I didn’t stop.

And I won’t.🤞🏻

P.S. When did you start your journey?

“Commenting on LinkedIn feels exhausting sometimes.”

I get it.
It drains me too.

That’s why most people avoid it.

They think:
→ “It’s a waste of time.”
→ “Posting matters more.”
→ “Comments don’t really help.”

But that’s not true.

Commenting is one of the most powerful tools on LinkedIn.

↳ Because comments create visibility.
↳ Visibility puts you in front of more people.
↳ And more people = more chances your ICP notices you.

You don’t have to post every single day.
Posting 3–4 times a week is enough.

But commenting?
That should be daily.

Even 10–15 minutes a day makes a difference
if you comment the right way.

→ Share a short experience
→ Add your opinion
→ Build on one point
→ Ask a thoughtful question

Make people pause.

Early comments get seen more.
More visibility = more profile visits.

Clear thought.
Short lines.
Easy to read.

Good comments make people curious about you.

𝟱. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 
100 generic comments won’t help.
20–30 meaningful comments will.

➜ That’s how you win.
➜ That’s how you stay visible.
➜ That’s how people remember you.
➜ That’s how LinkedIn actually works.
