A little re-introduction, in case you’re new here (or we’ve just never properly said hello).

I’m Katie. I’m a marketing strategist, but not the shouty, hustle-at-all-costs kind.

I help coaches and consultants who are great at what they do, have proper experience under their belt, and still find marketing harder than it feels like it should be. Usually, because they’re trying to squeeze it in around client work, life admin, and everything else.

A few things you might not know about me:

– I love a plan. A calm one. Preferably written down.
– Most of my best ideas arrive on walks (or in the shower, or whilst driving!), usually when I’m not trying to think about work.
– I enjoy marketing strategy far more than marketing noise (and I have very little patience for '£20k a month with just this one secret hack' nonsense.
– I’m always thinking about how to make things simpler, not bigger and moredifficult.
– And I firmly believe marketing should support your business - not feel like another job on top of the one you already have.

That's a bump to reality! 

First day back in my clients office today. Looking forward to catching up, but that commute this time of year? 

So grateful for flexible working! As I have the rest of the week solo parenting and supporting our 16 year old through mock GCSE's, so I'll be working from home.

No new years resolutions for me this year…

The first full week of January feels hard, after being cocooned in mince pies, Love Actually and endless cosy evenings in front of the fire.

Who needs to pile on New Year's resolutions on top? I’ll be happy to get my head down and do more of what I did in 2025 quite frankly.

And when it comes to work, I do have a plan of action, because I work better under deadlines.

Are you coming into January with a plan of action?
Or giving yourself a bit of time to ease in?

Either is OK, but if showing up again, finding new clients and generally putting yourself out there is filling you with dread, I’m here to let you know it’s OK.

January’s a tough time, and 2025 was a tough year for many, so it might be hard to know where to focus your energy and time to get the best results.

It’s very normal to feel like that, to feel a little lost with your marketing in the new year, especially when it comes to LinkedIn, which is an unpredictable beast at the best of times.

I’m also here to let you know it’s definitely not you; it’s simply a lack of foundations and systems that allow you to really focus your marketing on the areas that count.

LinkedIn's punishing me for taking a break over Christmas...😫

Post impressions are down, everything's dropped off a cliff....

But I've been here before. 

I saw a lot of people posting all through Christmas, good for them - I can't do it, but I know it makes January all the more painful after a long break.

And start getting clear on what they actually want to be known for.

Not just their services, but their point of view, the problems they solve best, and the conversations they want to lead. Once that’s clear, content decisions get much easier,  because everything has a filter.

2️⃣ They make one clear decision and stop constantly revisiting it.

That might be who they’re speaking to, how they position their offer, or the main message they want to reinforce. Instead of tweaking every few weeks or chasing new ideas, they give their marketing time to land and do its job.

3️⃣ They stop waiting to feel ready before showing up.

They don’t suddenly become more confident or inspired; they build a simple, repeatable rhythm that keeps them visible even when client work is full-on. Consistency comes from structure, not mood.

None of this is about clever tactics or posting tricks.

It’s about making a few grounded decisions and committing to them long enough for momentum to build.

I’ve realised I’m the anti-version of most marketing advice....

I’m anti-hustle.
Anti bro-sales.
Anti-overwhelm.
Anti-chasing viral trends that disappear as quickly as they arrive.
And very anti doing things in your business that make you uncomfortable, "because that’s what works”.

I don’t believe marketing should feel like a performance, a personality transplant, or a full-time job on top of the one you already have.

I’m much more interested in:

✔️ marketing that fits around real client delivery
✔️ decisions you don’t have to revisit every week
✔️ systems that still work when energy is low
✔️ and visibility that feels intentional, not performative

Tell me, what are you anti at the moment?

There was a real turning point for me when I realised something uncomfortable: I was spending hours on marketing, but not actually moving anything forward.

My posts were getting attention, but not action. I had bursts of visibility, but no reliable pipeline. And everything felt like it was requiring far more effort than it should have.

That was when I stopped trying to “do more” and started thinking differently about how marketing needed to fit into my life and business. Instead of chasing daily motivation, I focused on building a rhythm I could actually stick to (even on my unmotivated days!) - something steady, repeatable, and realistic alongside client work.

I wanted a way of marketing that didn’t rely on me feeling inspired, that gave me energy rather than drained it, and that kept working even in the weeks when my head was elsewhere. Once I had that system in place, everything started to feel calmer and more intentional.

That’s the same system I now teach inside my programme — and for the first time, I’m sharing it live.

You’re not flaky, lazy, or “bad at marketing”, even if it sometimes feels that way.

What’s usually happening is much more practical than personal. Your marketing is relying on motivation instead of structure. So when client work ramps up, life gets busy, or your headspace disappears, marketing is the first thing to fall away.

Then the pipeline slows.

Urgency kicks in.

And you push hard to get visible again — until the next busy spell.

I see this pattern constantly with smart, experienced coaches and consultants. Not because they don’t care about their marketing, but because they’re trying to run it on spare energy rather than a system that actually supports them.

It often shows up as reactive bursts of visibility, effort without a clear direction, and a heavy reliance on referrals - even when you know that isn’t sustainable in the long-term.

The issue isn’t that you need to post more.

Without a clear structure underneath, every post feels high-stakes.

That came up in the questions after 'From Reactive to Reliable' (the live masterclass I ran on Friday).

Things like:

“Why do my clients never seem to engage on LinkedIn?”
“Should I even be doing sales posts when they get so little traction?”
“Would having a structure help me stop worrying so much about how my content is received, because there’s a bigger plan behind it?”

What struck me wasn’t a lack of experience or confidence.

It was how much pressure people were putting on individual posts to work.

When there’s no bigger plan, it’s easy to read too much into engagement (or the lack of it), second-guess yourself, and quietly lose confidence - even when you’re good at what you do.

Once we talked about structure, having some priorities, a rhythm, and a way of deciding what actually matters, the anxiety dropped immediately.

We didn't fix the problem, as that takes time and effort, but we named the problem, and I shared the solution.

That’s exactly why 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 exists.

Something you might not know about me...


Even though I’ve spent years working in marketing, marketing my own business didn’t come naturally at all.

Helping clients is one thing. You’re close enough to see what matters, what to prioritise, what to ignore. But not too close to lose perspective.

Doing it for yourself is different. You’re in it. Emotionally attached. Overthinking every decision.

𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺.

I built it by needing things to make sense.

I’m naturally someone who wants clarity before action, a plan before pressure, and systems that support me when life gets busy.

For a long time, I assumed that meant I lacked confidence. Or drive. Or whatever trait people like to credit success to.

What I eventually realised was simpler than that:

I just didn’t want a model that relied on constant output, hype, or being ‘on’ all the time.

Once I stopped trying to force myself into that way of working, everything changed.

That’s why the work I do now always starts with structure.

Not because structure is rigid, but because it’s what creates freedom.

When you have a plan and structure in place, decisions can feel lighter, executing feels do-able and marketing becomes something you actually start to enjoy.

One of the hardest parts of relying on referrals is that marketing never really feels urgent… until suddenly it is.

I’ve been there myself. You’re busy delivering for clients, which is non-negotiable. The work is good, you’re in demand, and marketing quietly slips into the background because everything feels fine.

Then a client contract comes to an end. Or a project wraps up. And all at once you realise how exposed you are.

You haven’t been talking about the work you’re doing. You’ve dropped off the radar a bit. And there’s no easy, reliable system for replacing that client without going into panic mode. You start wondering how many opportunities you might have missed along the way.

So you react. A short burst on LinkedIn. A half-formed plan. A promise to yourself to “come back to this properly”. But, of course, you don't.

Nothing is broken enough to force a real decision. And nothing feels settled enough to relax either.

What people don’t talk about enough is the mental load this creates. Marketing sits permanently in the background of your mind. You’re always half-thinking about it, half-worrying about it, but never quite trusting it to do its job. And that in-between state can be exhausting.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.
Because this time of year can easily turn into a full-on mental audit.
All the things you didn’t do.
Did too late.
Should have known by now.
Handled “better.”

We’re very good at beating ourselves up (i know i can be).
But what if we’re reading the past year wrong?

What if the things you’re judging yourself for weren’t failures at all?
What if they were training.

The detour that slowed you down.
The messy phase that humbled you.
The idea that flopped.
The thing that didn’t work… because it wasn’t meant for you.

Maybe last year wasn’t about looking good…
or getting it right.

Maybe it was about building capacity.

Thicker skin.
Clearer boundaries.
A stronger nervous system.
A sharper sense of what’s a yes… and what’s a hell no.
So before you carry old self-judgments into the new year

pause.

What if nothing went wrong?
What if it was all part of the prep?
And what if the responsibility you’re being prepared for
is bigger than you’ve been giving yourself credit for?

Leave the shame in the old year.
Take the wisdom with you.
That’s plenty for now.

We talk a lot about 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆.
But it only works when it’s 'strategic authenticity'.

There’s a big misunderstanding around “being authentic” in business.

People think it means:
⇢ share everything
⇢ say whatever comes up
⇢ show up unfiltered, all the time

That’s not authenticity.
That’s a lack of discernment.

Authenticity without direction turns into noise.
Strategy without authenticity turns into performance.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 lives in the middle.

It’s knowing:
⇢ who you are
⇢ what you stand for
⇢ what you don’t stand for
…and then choosing - intentionally - what actually belongs in your brand.

Not everything 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 needs to be shared.
Not everything shared needs to be raw.
And not everything raw is useful.

The goal isn’t to be liked.
The goal isn’t to be relatable to everyone.
The goal is to be clear.

Clear enough that the right people recognise themselves.
Clear enough that trust forms without convincing.
Clear enough that your business doesn’t feel like an identity crisis.

This is where I see so many solopreneurs get stuck.
They’re either hiding parts of themselves…
or oversharing without any structure (this is a big one).

Strategic authenticity lets you be:
✧ true and focused
✧ expressive and grounded
✧ human and professional

It’s not about saying more.
It’s about saying the right things, in the right way, to the right people.

That’s when your brand starts to feel like home… for you and for your audience.

A small realisation from Pilates that hit way closer to home than expected.

A couple of weeks ago I started doing reformer Pilates.
It’s fun. It’s challenging. And it’s brutally honest.

The machine doesn’t let you hide.
It exposes your weak points… fast.

The other day, halfway through a class, I noticed something about myself.
I like to do upper body exercises… because my upper body is strong.
My core?! not so much.

And every time we moved into core work, my confidence dipped.
Not dramatically. Just enough.

And almost immediately, another impulse kicked in…
“Let’s switch back to arms.”
“Let’s do what I’m good at.”
Instant confidence boost.

And that’s when it clicked.
This isn’t about Pilates.
This is a pattern.

In business, we do this all the time.
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗴𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀.

We double down on our strengths.
We stick to what we already know works.
We avoid the uncomfortable gap.

Not because we’re lazy.
But because our nervous system is protecting identity.
It’s saying: “Stay where you’re competent. Stay where you feel solid.”

And that’s not wrong.
But it is a fork in the road.

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝘁… 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸.

If you’re willing to stay with the discomfort…tTo train the part that feels shaky, unfamiliar, humbling… 
Your whole system upgrades.

That’s true in the body.
And it’s true in business.

Growth rarely comes from perfecting your strengths.
It comes from facing the places where confidence drops… and staying anyway.

"I’m a complete chaos…"

That’s what I said to my client the other day when she told me:
“Every time we speak, I feel grounded. Clear. Like I finally know what to do next.”

Which made me laugh.
Because if you looked at my life from the outside over the last 12 months?
I’ve been more air than ever.
Moving. Shifting. Countries changing.
No fixed base. No single place of “belonging.”

Chaos, right?!

And yet… I am grounded.
Not because my life is tidy.
But because my structure is strong.

That’s the part people feel.
I’ve built systems, rituals, and strategies that ground me instantly..
no matter where I am or how much is moving around me.

But that grounded energy isn’t calm-by-nature.

It’s created.
And here’s why this matters for you.
𝗨𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗼𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰.

It often looks very… familiar.

◇ It looks like lying in bed at night with a thousand thoughts
and not being able to sleep because your list feels endless.
◇ It looks like waking up knowing what you should do.. and procrastinating anyway.
◇ It looks like having incredible ideas in your head but freezing when it’s time to act.

It sounds like:
“I’m not ready yet.”
“I just need a bit more clarity.”
“I’ll start once I feel more confident.”

But here’s the uncomfortable truth…
You don’t get clarity before action.
𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Same with confidence.
Same with readiness.

You don’t think your way into groundedness.
𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘆.

That’s what strategy actually is.
Not a buzzword. Not a rigid plan.
It’s the structure that lets your chaos move without burning you out.

And if any of this feels a little too close to home…
you’re not broken.
You’re just uncontained.
And that can be changed.

It’s been a minute.
Okay… two weeks to be exact.

No posting. No checking. No commenting.
Coming back here almost feels a bit awkward.

Like walking into a room you actually like, but you’ve been gone long enough to notice the silence first.

Anyway. I’m back.

Partly because yes… it’s good for business.
But also because I genuinely like it here. 
The conversations. The people. The thinking.

The offline time did its thing… a lot of reflecting (as one does around this time).

And here’s what I keep circling back to: 
𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀…
Strategy. Skills. Timing. Consistency. Luck. All of it.

But underneath all of that?

𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗙.
That quiet certainty that what you’re building actually matters.
That you’re not just making noise… you’re offering something needed.

And that’s the tricky part.
Because belief isn’t something you can buy in a shop.
You can’t download it. You can’t outsource it.

What you can do though…
is put yourself in rooms, conversations, and containers that help you see yourself clearly.

That’s what support really does.
You’re not buying answers.
𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘆.

When I work with people, it’s never just one thing.

It’s mindset.
Beliefs.
Positioning.
Strategy.
Brand.
Structure.

All the layers that quietly increase you certainty.

And here’s something I noticed when I reviewed my own work over the last two years…
The biggest shifts… including a 46% increase in my close rate didn’t come from doing more. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻. 𝗔 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗽.

Less guessing. More clarity.

Certainty grows when you know where you’re going… and why.

So yeah. New year. Same me.
A little clearer. A little bolder.
And very much here.
Let’s see what this year has in store.

I keep hearing the same advice in entrepreneurship…

“Test more.”
“Iterate fast.”
“Build an MVP and pivot.”

And honestly?
For a lot of solopreneurs, this advice does more harm than good.

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮.
They’re failing because they never stay with one long enough to move past the hard middle.

Here’s what usually happens..
You start something with 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗺 (see the image).
It feels exciting. Light. Full of possibility.

Then reality hits.
Things move slower than expected.
Sales aren’t instant.
Clarity wobbles.
Doubt creeps in.

Instead of recognising this phase for what it is, people call it “testing”…
and quietly move on.

But that middle dip?
That’s not failure.
That’s 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴… the exact point where most people quit.

This is where informed pessimism lives.
Where the shine is gone, but the skill isn’t built yet.

And here’s the uncomfortable truth..
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
It comes from staying.

Consistency beats clever pivots.
Depth beats variety.
Time + focused energy beat restarting over and over again.

𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻…
not as a way to escape discomfort.

Once you push through the dip, something shifts.
You gain informed optimism.
You learn how to sell.
You learn how to execute.
You build confidence that’s earned.. not imagined.

And then achievement becomes possible.

Most businesses don’t fail.
They’re abandoned right before they would’ve worked.

Full panic mode…

Except it wasn’t.
And that’s how I knew something had shifted.

The other night I was sitting in a café, laptop open, fully dropped into a deep-work mood…

and my computer just shut down.
Blank screen. Gone.

For about five seconds, my body did what it used to do.
A taste of panic.

And then… nothing.

I paused.
Breathed.
Looked around.
Started thinking rationally.

And that’s when it hit me.
A year ago, this would’ve sent me into full meltdown.

My laptop is basically my right hand.
Work, income, ideas… all in there.

But this time?
My nervous system didn’t hijack the moment.
And that’s the real lesson.

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀.. 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.

The growth isn’t that life gets easier.
It’s that you regulate faster.
You recover quicker.
You don’t spiral as far.
You don’t make the moment bigger than it is.

That’s progress most people miss.

Not more output.
Not more hustle.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲.

And honestly?
That’s everything.

That inner tug of war has been my first week back here.

January has this strange energy, doesn’t it?!
The celebrations are over.
The “new year, new goals” noise is loud.

Part of me feels like I should already be back at it.
Planning. Moving. Executing.

And another part is quietly saying…
You’re allowed to chill for a bit more (my birthday month gives me extra credits, right?! 😉 ).

And here’s the thing I keep noticing with clients right now:
This in-between phase - reviewing the old and sensing the next is where the truth shows up.

What’s actually working.
What’s been dragging for months.
What feels aligned.. and what’s just habit.

When you slow down enough, the signal gets clearer.
And clarity doesn’t come from pushing harder.

It comes from seeing your business as it is.. not as you wish it were.
That’s exactly why I’m still holding a couple of Brand Audit sessions in this opening season.

Not for everyone.

Only for people who feel that subtle nudge of:
“Something’s not clicking… and I’m ready to see it.”

No pressure. No fixing.
Just a clean outside-in view of what’s working, what’s leaking energy, and where to focus next.

If you’re still in the soft landing phase.. good.
That’s often the best moment to look honestly.

Business problems often look strategic,
but are rooted in self-worth, safety, and belief.

I’ve been sitting with this thought a lot lately.
Because on the surface, business struggles usually sound like:
“I need better strategy.”
“I need a clearer offer.”
“I need a smarter plan.”

And yes.. sometimes you do.

But I’ve seen this too many times to ignore it…
You can have the right idea.
The right steps.
Even the right timing.

And still feel stuck.

Why?
Because when self-worth is shaky, everything else wobbles.
You hesitate to put yourself out there.
You underprice.
You overexplain.
You take rejection personally.
You disappear the moment something doesn’t land.

Not because you’re bad at business..
but because your nervous system doesn’t feel safe holding success or rejection.

And here’s the part people don’t like to hear ↴
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗼.

Not as a punishment.
Just as feedback.

Healthy self-worth doesn’t mean nothing hurts.
It means a “no” doesn’t send you into a spiral.
It means you stay grounded when things wobble.
It means you keep showing up without needing constant proof.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.
It always touches belief.
Identity.
Safety.

Strategy matters.. but it can’t carry what your inner foundation won’t hold.
And that’s where the real work begins.

So next time you feel like something isn’t working and your instinct is to look for a new strategy… pause for a second.
Check in with yourself first.
