Following a year in which I served the Marketing and Member Success teams at Pavilion, I'm fortunate to now serve the Marketing and Growth teams, whose focus is on growing topline revenue. Like many of you, 2025 was a crazy year for me.

Between monthly travel ✈️
Milestone moments (my son’s high school graduation, our 25th wedding anniversary) 🎓💍
Once-in-a-lifetime experiences (hello, Super Bowl and my first Indian wedding)
And… launching a new company! 👑

I learned one important thing:

Being constantly busy is NOT my preferred mode.

I missed the quiet moments to just sit and think.
I missed deep work. (Working from a plane is not the same!)
I missed pausing long enough to appreciate my progress.

So this year, my focus is clearer:

👑 Build Empressa AI with intention
👑 Create more space for deep work
👑 Let AI do the work I typically avoid

Way less rushing.

I usually pick a word for the year.
But for 2026, I’m giving myself permission to wait and see what comes to me.

P.S. Thank you to the woman who reminded me that the Lunar New Year begins on February 17 - and that January is meant for decluttering, creating space, and resting. 
Now I feel like I have more time :)
