I believe the best ideas in the AWS ecosystem shouldn't be locked behind paywalls or big marketing budgets. That's why I spend a lot of my time building communities where knowledge flows freely.

I'm VP of Operations at Rhythmic Technologies, where I lead Sales, Marketing, Alliances, Customer Success, and Compliance. But the work I'm most proud of happens outside my day job.

I founded the AWS Partner User Group—a free, peer-driven community of 100+ partners helping each other navigate the AWS ecosystem. I lead the AWS Cleveland and AWS DMV User Groups. I lead AWS DMV Community Day and serve on the organizing committee for AWS Midwest Community Day. In 2025, AWS recognized this work with the "Invent & Simplify Champion" award and a Community Travel Grant. Most recently, I was awarded Female MSP Leader of the Year by Superops. 

I have a pattern of seeing gaps nobody's filling and stepping in. Sometimes that's building a community. Sometimes that's mentoring early-career women so they don't have to learn lessons the hard way. Sometimes it's just asking the question everyone else is afraid to ask.

In my free time, I'm a passionate but frustrated Cleveland sports fan, an avid photographer, GenAI enthusiast, and mom to three grown children and three unruly cats.

As part of my continued learning and growth, I took a leap from a large enterprise to join a growing startup in June 2021 to lead marketing efforts. It was a culmination of many years of experience in both sales and marketing roles and brought together more recent experiences in marketing technology and operations for an open source software company. These individuals were responsible for everything from campaign metadata creation to digital marketing conversion through to lead routing and follow up. Customer experience, digital transformation, and enabling high-performance teams fuel my professional dreams. Outside of work, it’s all about family, the beach, and basketball.

I've been a marketer for as long as I can remember. As a youngster, I brainstormed ideas with my Dad to create awareness for our family's restaurant in the Virginia mountains. I learned about creativity, perseverance, and listening to the customer by being on the front lines until I moved away for college.

I attended High Point University as an undergraduate thanks to a basketball scholarship. That's where I began to put a framework around the real-world experience I gained from watching my parents. I graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and marketing.  

After graduation, I started at Ecolab where I worked alongside great leaders that empowered me to climb the ranks. Over eight years, I had the opportunity to grow professionally, in management roles across sales and marketing, while gaining my MBA. In my last role at Ecolab, I managed the global marketing team for the International Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) business with sales over $55 million annually.  

In 2010, I returned to my entrepreneurial roots by starting my own marketing consulting firm, Aubergine Creative. I worked with many clients, both large and small, and expanded the scope of work into branding, website design, SEO, and social. I helped create and activate marketing strategies into actionable plans that could be executed by marketers and non-marketers alike.

I joined Red Hat's Marketing Technology and Operations team in 2015 and held various roles of increasing scope until 2021. I had the privilege of leading a team of 40+ individuals who brought the marketing technology stack to life through integrated processes and skills designed to help make marketing more efficient and effective. In addition, I was honored to work with many teams around the globe to prioritize the development, diversity, and health of 1000+ marketers. This included efforts focused on learning and development, diversity, equity and inclusion, and helping associates grow careers. 

Life has a way of twisting and turning and in 2021 I decided it was time to grow and stretch in new ways again. I wanted to combine past experiences in sales and marketing and move back into *doing* marketing using all the incredible things I have learned over the past two decades. Now, you'll find me as the CMO at Klearly where I'm fortunate to help an experienced team bring an application to the market that's going to transform the way sales and marketing teams work together.
