 And I like to talk. Genuine relationship building is not bad. 

7. I don’t talk.
 Especially in discovery, I aim to talk between 25% and 33% of the time.
 Why? Whatever they say can be used; it’s the same as in a courtroom.
 The key is good questions.

8. I hold my frame.
 If they’re on a call with you, they have a problem.
 And you’re a person who solves that problem every day.
 Look at yourself as a doctor, not a seller.

9. I know who to follow up with.
 For me, it’s not about when.
 With some people, you don’t follow up.
 Other people are just busy and will appreciate it.
 Know how to differentiate the two.

10. I know it goes up and down.
 As with anything, you’re going to have bad days and good days.
 You just must prevent your bad days from hurting your good days.

They thought paying $15/hour for research was "efficient." 

But they weren't calculating the opportunity cost.

While their VA spent 4 hours researching 100 companies, they could've been building 10x that list and actually reaching out to prospects.

Most people see Clay as a fancy spreadsheet with integrations.

I tested it on a question I get every week: "Should I hire an SDR or outsource lead gen?"

Standard prompt gave me the usual "it depends" nonsense. No confidence level. No verification. Just vibes.
Meta-cognitive prompt gave me an actual answer, a confidence score, and told me exactly what was missing from my question.


Here's how the framework works:

Decompose - break the problem into sub-problems. Don't ask one big question. Make the AI split it into pieces first.

Solve - address each piece with a confidence score from 0.0 to 1.0. Now you know which parts the AI is guessing on.

Verify - check logic, facts, completeness, bias. The AI audits its own work before you see it.

Synthesize  - combine everything using weighted confidence. Stronger answers get more weight.

Reflect - if overall confidence is below 0.8, identify the weakness and retry. 

No more "meh" answers.

On the other hand, it doesn't overthink simple stuff.

Ask "what's 2+2" and you get a direct answer. 

It fully matches the complexity to the problem.
