Senior Project Manager

As a Project Manager, my role is to schedule, plan, and execute all project activities in alignment with customer requirements and the principles of continuous improvement, with the goal of successfully achieving project milestones. This includes managing contractors, allocating resources, ensuring client satisfaction, and complying with statutory requirements.

-Improved the site fabrication throughput of steel structures by 35% (65MT). This has been achieved through Lean Theory of Constraints and Value Stream Mapping analysis. This also helped in improving the lean culture.
-Improved the material reconciliation system to optimize the procurement of materials, distribution and wastage.
-Eliminated the MIG welding defects (Worhmole) and improved the welding output by 25%.

Project Manager- Thermal Power Plant Construction

I'll oversee every step of building a thermal power plant to make sure it's safe and successful. This involves making sure all the steel structures are made on-site, pipes are welded correctly, pressure parts are put together, everything is set up, and quality is guaranteed, all while following safety rules.

-Established the dissimilar welding of Grade 91 and Grade 22 in OTSC headers, through critical analysis of welding parameters, pre heating and heat treament temperature. 
-Inmproved the throughput of panel fabrication by 30%, thorugh addresing the bottleneck workcenters.
-Eliminated the hot crack in Submerged Arc Welding of Grade 92 material, and improved the turn around time (TAT) by 40%.

Deputy manager-Boiler Erection

As a senior engineer responsible for the production of Once Through Super critical (OTSC) boiler-sepeator (60M). It includes establising its sub components and complete fabrication of the seperator. 

-Improved the welding froove profile of the seperator nozzle and also reduced its machining time. This is achieved through critical analysis of the weld nozzle accessibility, engineering strength requirements, by optimizing the CNC programing.
-Replaced the huge quantum of SAMW (Shielded Metal Ard Welding) with FCAW ( Flux Cored Arc Welding) which turn around time by 40%.
- Elimated the root contamination of pipe butt join, in TIG welding. This is done through the improved purging and welder skill analysis.

Senior Engineer- Boiler Seperator Manufacturing 

As production engineer, responsible for the producion of boiler headers. It incudes, production schudling, manpower allocation, adherance to drawing specifications, quality cirlce formation and project improvemts.

-Established 4 Quality Cirlce teams and implemented process improvement projects and kaizen burst events. 
-Counducted regular 5s awareness programs and received 5S award for 2 conssicutive years.
-Esablished Total Productive Maintanance (TPM), by regular shop floor auditing and preventive maintanance activities.

Production Engineer- Boile Headers

Training and orientation in the boiler production, welding, contracts, purchase, boiler design and operations. 

-Supported the production engineer in the production and sheduling activities.

Engineer Trainee

Vedanta Limited - Aluminium Business

Responsible for the throughput of the alluminium foil rolling mill, for all three shifts.

Graduate Engineering Trainee

I'm a devoted continuous improvement practitioner, strongly embracing Lean, Kaizen, and other japanese philosophies. My firm conviction is that problem-solving and process enhancement are inherent aspects of my professional DNA, supported by a prosperous track record in manufacturing and project management.

❄️I am actively exploring opportunities in the "Operations Consulting" field, with a focus on sustainability. My top Clifton Strengths (Futuristic, Strategic, Activator, Focus, and Ideation) and my experience align well with this role.

 🏭The Manufacturing Marvel: I once ventured into the manufacturing industry with great determination. Imagine a factory buzzing with machines and filled with hardworking employees. I embraced the Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement philosophies and together with my incredible team, we transformed machining, welding and NDT processes, and achieved results beyond our wildest dreams.

🚀The Project Management Journey: My journey in project management began with overseeing thermal power plants installations. I faced challenges like tight deadlines, complex planning, team coordination, client relations, budget management, and unique problem-solving. This experience emphasized effective leadership, stakeholder collaboration, customer satisfaction, and innovative system establishment. 

💡Intuitive Frameworks:  Derived from experience, I crafted unique problem-solving frameworks. The 4P-U-T-A  & CARE models. This was my secret weapon, enabling me to conquer the most professional challenges.

❄️Specialization: My journey has led me to specialize in enhancing operations, driven by my expertise in Lean Six Sigma , welding, NDT, metallurgy, project management & supply chain. I am deeply passionate about the "Operations Consulting" roles.

📚 Beyond the Desk: I extend my pursuit of knowledge beyond my workplace, maintaining a library of over 300 books in both English and Tamil. I continuously enhance my personal journey by actively learning about leadership styles, market trends, emotional intelligence, and soft skills through personalized coaching and various digital platforms.
