As my Master's Thesis, I tried to unearth what it takes to become a content creator, build an online audience starting from scratch, and find sustainable business models for monetization.

As a starting point, I had:
- very limited or almost non-existent online follower base
- no content creation skills
- no connections in the space
- no tools (just a phone and a GoPro)
- money for three months of travel

End result:
- built my Instagram from 200 to ~4k followers
- (YouTube didn't work out)
