My life has taught me three important things:

1.  We engage with the world through our Mindspace. So, guard it.
2. We have the ability to co-create our reality. Choose wisely.
3. Everything Is Figureoutable. Just go with the flow.

These foundational insights have been the compass guiding me through 5+ diverse career landscapes, from medicine to research to goldsmithing to corporate leadership including landing a $3M seed fund for the company I worked for when I knew next to nothing about pitching. Not to forget my latest transition to a full-time coach consultant. 

In addition to the personal challenges of marrying young, losing multiple pregnancies, overcoming ~3 years of physical disability... these are the experiences that make me the person that I am today.

And, in the face of adversity, I have learned to find strength in unconditional acceptance of all that life presents.

I thought micromanagement was a sign of excellence.
It was actually a sign of fear.

How Do You Explain Marketing? 

You can pull 80-hour weeks and still feel alive.
What drains you is always saying yes.

For years, I said yes to everything
projects, favors, responsibilities that weren’t mine
thinking it made me dependable.

It made me heavy.

This image says it best:
We carry so much that doesn’t belong to us.

The guilt of saying no.
The shame of slowing down.
The pressure to appear “on top of it.”

We call it responsibility.

But most of the time, it’s fear
fear of letting someone down,
fear of being replaced,
fear of not being enough.

No wonder rest doesn’t fix it.
You can’t heal exhaustion that comes from 
who you think you have to be.

The lesson: 
You don’t need more productivity hacks.
You need to drop the bags that aren’t yours to carry.

Let go of the obligation.
Keep the lesson.
Travel lighter.

At some point, every leader becomes the eagle at 40.
