I'm a software engineer with a strong background in the industry. Over the past 7 years, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of software development projects in different roles, from intern to development team leader. My experience has given me a diverse set of skills and knowledge in the field, and I have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time.

Recently, I decided to step down from my position as a development team leader to pursue a new opportunity. I am now the owner and operator of a small company focused on developing mobile apps. I am excited to take on this new challenge and to have the freedom to explore my ideas and projects.

BetterPic provides a platform for generating natural and professional photos for social media profiles, CVs, and more, utilizing a trained AI model based on 15 user-provided photos to deliver hundreds of photo options within two hours​​.

The service is used and trusted by professionals worldwide, offering a cost-effective and accessible solution for high-quality corporate headshots​​.

My experience:
- Involved in continuous development and enhancement of image generation AI, focusing on preprocessing input and postprocessing output for optimal results.
- Implemented machine learning pipelines, contributing to the sophistication and efficiency of BetterPic's AI technology in creating lifelike professional headshots​​.
- Played a key role in the initial marketing and support automation, improving customer engagement and service efficiency.
- Implemented programmatic SEO strategies to enhance online visibility and user acquisition.
- Expertise in upscaling and working with diffusion models, ensuring high-quality and realistic AI-generated images.
- Full-stack development responsibilities, including working with Nuxt 3 and ExpressJS, to build and maintain a robust, user-friendly platform.

Led Baeclo, an e-commerce venture, for 1 year and 2 months.

Main achievements and experience:
- Managed an e-commerce, generating over €5,000 in monthly revenue.
- Effectively scaled advertising campaigns on Facebook Ads, reaching millions of people while maintaining a Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) between 2.0 and 6.0.
- Developed and maintained business relationships with the Asian market.
- Applied cognitive biases learned from various trainings and books to real-world marketing strategies.
- Managed a small remote team, ensuring efficient and productive operations.
- Oversaw the successful management of the company's social media accounts, enhancing online presence and customer engagement.

Lutorlandia

Led Lutorlandia, a gaming server with over 2 million total players, for 4 years and 6 months.

Main achievements and experience:
- Collaborated with over 10 macroinfluencers, fostering win-win relationships that significantly increased brand awareness for Lutorlandia and contributed to user growth.
- Acquired sales skills and developed strategies to increase revenue while learning to manage a team of 30 via Skype and Slack.
- Gained proficiency in Linux using Bash and transitioned from relational SQL (MariaDB) to non-relational databases (MongoDB for data storage, Redis for temporary caching) for optimization purposes.
- Organized a structure of about 5 dedicated servers, achieving a fixed maximum capacity of 512 GB RAM in OVH with scalability in Microsoft Azure during peak loads, such as holidays or influencer live streams.
- Developed expertise in cyberattack protection, handling around 5 DDoS attacks daily, implementing strict IPTABLES rules and a physical firewall (up to 600GBPS). Addressed Layer-4 Zero-Day attacks (e.g., TCP-ACK) by creating specialized rules after analyzing packet patterns.
- Frequently managed Layer-7 attacks on the website, combating vulnerabilities and bot-driven attacks (primarily XMLRPC from external WordPress sources).
- Successfully optimized server websites and websites of influencers with millions of followers, managing traffic spikes from an average of 1,000 to 80,000 visitors in 5 minutes due to live streaming, through caching and optimization at NGINX, PHP, Linux kernel (sysctl.conf) levels, and extensive use of Azure CDN.
- Acquired better Java development skills using the Spigot API for creating new games on the server, and worked with PHP, Python, HTML, BASH scripts, and JavaScript.

Jovid

I take from this stage the management of PHP workers, responsible for processing the videos and uploading them to blobs in Microsoft Azure, the optimization of a REST API with Node JS and Nginx, the ability to scale a Cloud service and prepare it for load peaks, and the optimization of the Linux kernel depending on the purpose for which it is to be used.

Most of these skills have been applied before in Lutorlandia, and perfected in Jovid.

Job search app. The main advantage over the competition was our focus on video, both those who published the job offer and those who applied for it did so through a story, thus giving many more possibilities such as seeing what environment they are going to work in, seeing how the possible new worker develops by talking, and much other information that you do not get just by reading a text.
