I partner with business leaders across Australia and New Zealand to develop comprehensive AWS training plans and workforce transformation initiatives, to drive business outcomes.  Customers include public sector agencies and commercial customers.

Complex cross functional role, which involves building relationships with customer stakeholders, multiple internal teams and AWS partners.  
 
Community wide initiatives include supporting local iwi to inspire rangatahi in to tech roles, developing AWS AgriTech School, The Dream House Lunch & Learn series and co-owning the Hapori Wahine program, to support women pivoting into cloud tech roles. Committed to support the government’s Digital Strategy for Aotearoa by providing learning opportunities for 100,000 people in New Zealand over the next five years.

Business Development Manager | Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training & Certification

I worked with Analytics and Insights Leaders across all industry verticals, to help them identify skill gaps within their teams, develop learning plans and up-skill their teams in advanced analytics and AI.  My focus was on developing successful learning outcomes, to help SAS customers and business partners deliver value and transform their business.

Responsible for country revenue, strategic approach, territory planning and local operational activities for SAS NZ's Education and Training business unit.

SAS is the market leader in Advanced Analytics & AI globally. We work with over 90% of the Fortune 500. In New Zealand, our customers include the leading brands across Government, Financial services,  Energy & Utilities and other key industries.

NZ Account Manager | Training 

Senior leadership role managing business support teams across NZ, India and Malaysia.  HR responsibility for 20+ direct reports, managing the GTS Graduate programme, providing executive support to the GM and being a member of the NZ leadership team. Responsible for sales operations, contract management support, project management administration and ensuring business controls were in place.

NZ Business Support Manager

In this role I managed a team of 7 reports located across Wellington & India.  This team was responsible for processing customer service requests with IBM, tracking contractual obligations across the business and ensuring appropriate governance and compliance controls were in place. My team and I were located on the client site, at Westpac.

During this time I worked with a software start on a 3D virtual mall, started my own drop shipping business with a supplier based in Hong Kong (which I sold to Pharmacy Direct) and worked on a tech start up across the real estate, car and hospitality sector.

Digital Start Ups

This contract role included management of the IBM customer satisfaction process, operational administration of the sales territory databases, forecasting and opportunity reporting.

Sales Operations 

Morgan Stanley

During my OE I traveled to 20 countries.  When I wasn't traveling, I was fortunate to be placed in roles at Morgan Stanley London where I provided executive support to VP of IT Consumer Banking, Project Director and Project Office Director. I also provided business support to a team of 10 Project Managers and Analysts across Consumer Banking, Equity Research and Trading Floor - many of which I am still friends with today.

London 

In this role I was assigned customers within the small medium business market and was responsible for customer retention, new sales, profit and overall customer satisfaction. I achieved my targets and attained entry to the IBM 100% Club.

Account Manager

In this role I was the single point of contact to pre-sales, project and sales and marketing teams for all admin, including  contracts , pricing,  procurement, proposals, presentations and reports. Implemented processes and improvements across region and educated team on new service offerings. I was also the Global Bid Manager for International Service Bids.
