2013 – Present<br>Owner Real World Living, Burry Port, Wales<br>Providing and building up training and resources using the Energy Dynamic model as a basis. Clients include probation, families with abuse issues, business people, people with physical illnesses related to exhaustion / stress and people with children with a diagnosis to do with Autism.  Great for stress management and leadership,in particular, this model can be used to understand and deal with mental health problems as well as raising your consciousness.

Running the EDM 'Teen Leaders' courses and one to one sessions, using the EDM Power Tower as the key learning resource. Can do both Skype and real life groups.
Topics covered : Understanding yourself, understanding others, the role of the mind and the imagination, creativity, innovation, critical thinking, self expression, assertiveness, self empowerment.

Real World Living Ltd

This business was started up by gaining some community development funding to run projects to improve people’s wellbeing in deprived areas, and ended up being a fully operational accredited college in its own right. The students were diverse and ranged from business owners to ethnic minorities who lived in deprived areas in Llanelli. It was a very successful business but unfortunately I had to slow the development of the business down in 2012 and eventually had to shut it down completely due to a couple of very unfortunate family events which meant I had to completely change the way I was working.

Partyparti Ltd

This was my first venture into running my own business and I achieved this with the support of my ex employer who jointly owned the business. After a year of trading, I went forward on my own with it and then changed the business into Real World Living instead when the economic market changed and I found a new outlet for myself. This business created children’s parties, provided theatrical learning experiences and hosted other events.

Foothold

July 2005 - September 2007 .The Foothold Group 
I had three roles in this company:
Jan 2007- September 2007 Head of the Art Department 
I set up the Art Department which involved setting up two companies - Foothold Theatrical Enterprises Ltd and 'Spot On' Ltd, and working with the director on strategy.
March 2006 - Jan 2007 . Head of Environment. 
Responsible for all projects in this section of the company. Included development of staff, volunteers and beneficiaries of projects. Focus on recycling waste and sustainable development. Targets included setting up four community enterprises by end of 2007
Communities First Cordinator Based in Llwynhendy, Llanelli. Responsible for managing the Communities First programme in this area. Worked with the Partnership to empower and develop the people of this ward. Multi - agency working and leading forward on community development projects essential part of role.

Manager / Director

Serendipity Nursery, Llanelli

. I worked one to one with children with special needs in this main stream nursery, developing their skills and helping them to join in activities.

Support worker

Hackney Social Services, London

Responsible for progressing people with learning and mental health disabilities in Hackney. Set up new system of learning within department, local colleges and day care centres. Facilitated the development of service user's by looking at their skills and talents whilst supporting their needs.

Manager

Workstep Project, Scout Enterprises, London

Set up learning system for people with disabilities and employers. Developed new ways of working with clients. Set up whole project from scratch, recruited and developed staff and set up procedures and learning process.

Remploy, London

Worked in two Remploy factories developing the staff (people with disabilities) and moving them out of the factories into outside employment.

Job Coach / Employment Development Coordinator

Author of 'Complete Works Energy Dynamic Model' - a simple guide to understanding yourself. Contains evidence, research and a text book and play that you can use on a personal or professional basis to improve your performance.

Projects:
'Get Sorted' - a wrap around service for people whilst they are in prison to help them succeed in the world outside when they leave. Piloting this in HMP Stoke Heath, it involves training on how to understand yourself, career paths, emotional intelligence, mentoring, employment opportunities and motivation. All attendees receive an individual development plan, including post release.

The Me Tree
Rolling out in September 2024, a learning resource that enables children from 10 - 16 years old identify what 'who they are' looks like, and to see what makes them feel good and to become more self aware. Classroom package available as well as individual packages for parents. For teachers, support workers, Autism / ADHD  specialists and parents, please let me know if you would like to pilot this in your organisation.

Meet Your Mind
A special training for people who are interested and love the Energy Dynamic Model. This online course shows you how to use the 'Mind' aspect of the idea in your home or work place. Its a great way to help people realise that they are more than their mind, and what they need to do to fulfil their potential. Please email me for more information.
