Why does this workflow succeed while others complain about receiving generic garbage?

It comes down to the evaluation gap. Verifying a complex output is much easier than creating one from scratch, but you still need the foundational expertise to do the verification. If you don’t know what the right answer looks like, you cannot separate a highly convincing hallucinated output from technical reality.

We are witnessing a mandatory shift from basic prompt engineering (typing instructions) to intent engineering (mapping a known solution to a machine).

A massive tsunami is already upon us. If your individual/team’s strategy relies on searching for copy-paste prompts instead of leveraging real expertise to steer the machine, you are going to get washed out.
