I come from a family of employees.

Good people. 
Hard workers. 
Steady paychecks.

Nobody ever started a business.

The path was: get good grades, get a good job, work there for 30 years, retire.

You need delusion.

I get called lucky a lot.

And honestly? I have been lucky.

I had savings when I quit my job.

People confuse wealth with money.

I used to make great money at work.

I told everyone about my big idea.

Then I did nothing about it for a year.

Talked about it at work.
Mentioned it to friends.

I didn't have it figured out when I started.

I still don't, honestly.

1. AI in law isn't a zero-sum game.
It's not "lawyers vs. machines"
It benefits everyone

Most firms look at AI and see:

5. Reframe your pricing model
AI makes you faster
 If you're billing hourly, you're penalising yourself for being efficient
(This is why I prefer to work with high-volume firms)

The firms that see AI as a threat will defend a dying model

The firms that see AI as opportunity will build the future

Fear sees AI as a threat to the old model

Opportunity sees AI as the path to freedom

1. Stop thinking AI = ChatGPT

AI has now become:

Systems 
Workflows 
Automations that runs while you sleep

2. Learn what's actually possible

Most firm owners think AI can do 10% of what it actually can

I thought implementing AI in businesses
Was where all the value was at
Turns out I was wrong

My 2nd big client

I built them an amazing system:
 → Intake automation
 → Case management
 → Custom workflows

Delivered it
Showed them Loom videos
Felt good about it

Then the call came

"The team is confused
"They don't know how to use this."
I was frustrated

What do you mean confused?

I showed you how it works
I sent you the videos

But then I realized something:

They had no foundation
No training on AI basics
I handed them a car without teaching them to drive

So I went back in

Spent a full day training the entire team
Not on the system
On AI itself

How it works
Why it's safe (this made the most impact)
What they need to know about compliance

By the end of that session, something shifted

Some started asking, "Can we use this for X?"
Started experimenting on their own
Those became my champions

And what was even better

They helped others get onboard

And that training session?

That became my workshop model

Now I start every engagement with a workshop

Train the team first.
Let the champions emerge.
Then I build with their suggestion included

The result?

Adoption went from 30% to 85%
Systems don't die after 6 months anymore
Those teams actually use what I build

Because the value isn't in implementing AI

The value is in making sure the people who use it actually understand it.

The one we bought 3 months ago?

She says
Uh… I started it

I had a lead today that seemed like a good case
But we’re not using the system
So I put it in a Google Doc like always

1. Track your numbers

It doesn't have to be fancy
Spreadsheet. Pen and paper. Whatever works
You just need to know:

-->How many leads come in
--> How many convert
--> Where they drop off

2. Find your biggest leak

Don't try to fix everything at once
Just identify the one place you're losing the most revenue

--> Is it response time? 
--> Follow-up? 
--> The intake process itself?

Fix that first

3. Then add systems

Once you can see what's happening, automation becomes powerful.
But not before

The firms I've worked with that do this?

They're doing it with less chaos, less stress, and more predictability
And honestly, that's what this is really about.
Not just revenue
Freedom

I'm thinking about running a full workshop on this.
Not theory. Not fluff.
