Metro Blue Line Extension (BLRT) Business Advisory Committee

The METRO Blue Line Extension (BLRT) Business Advisory Committee (BAC) is established to provide
guidance to the BLRT Corridor Management Committee (CMC) on community issues during the
engineering and environmental phases of Blue Line project development. In addition, the BAC advises
the Hennepin County Community Works Steering Committee for elements regarding station area
planning, other infrastructure investments and elements that may be implemented post revenue service.


The purpose of the BAC is to serve as a voice for the community and advise the BLRT Corridor
Management and Community Works Steering Committees:

- Provide input on light rail design and engineering topics including but not limited to station design,
parking, multi-modal access to station and public art.
- Advise on communications and outreach strategies related to BLRT.
- Provide input on station area vision and character for development from a community
perspective.
- Review and comment on major initiatives and actions of the Community Works program.
- Identify potential issues and review strategies to mitigate the impacts of construction on
residences and businesses.
- Serve as an information resource and liaison to the greater corridor community and their
appointing organization.

- Coordinated with the Executive Leadership Team to strategically position companies within Marsden Holdings, building a clear brand voice.
- Directed the complete redesign, rewriting, and relaunch of all 24 local company websites, ensuring smooth transition from old to new and zero downtime for customers.
- Successfully launched and enrolled 40+ sales staff onto an internal sales team website for clearer communication and coordination of national sales initiatives

As someone with a creative/sales/marketing background, I have always considered it an immense privilege to rub elbows every day with people who actually develop the technologies and enable the therapies that save, extend, and improve life for millions of people throughout the world. And with my record of successful product launch strategy and messaging in the medical device industry for the better part of a decade, I feel I have everything it takes to help an organization do just that.

I thrive on diving deep into therapies, indications, and technologies—stepping into the shoes of the HCP, the payer, the patient—and fully owning the way a new product can solve the most vexing problems they face. And then, bringing that solution to life.

Whether it's with patients, key opinion leaders, up- and down-stream marketers, executives, engineers, sales reps, internal regulators, or anyone in between—I love building connections, exploring possibilities, and then putting that talk to action. I'm energized by doing things that haven't been done before—and putting the whole world on notice. 

I've got all the technical skills: Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Qualtrics, CRMs, CMSs etc... but where I truly shine is in my ability to distill and crystalize concepts, drive consensus, and make things happen.
