Justin Currie

You may see me as the Managing Director of Malhi Group of Companies in Dubai, UAE from outside, but there’s a lot more. Our services range from Healthcare and Cleaning Services for corporates to Recruitment, but my story is more than that.

My professional journey originated in a close-knit community in Punjab, India, where I grew up and received my education. It’s been significantly shaped by empathy - a principle that has consistently guided my personal and professional life. These initial years instilled in me a deep appreciation for human connection and understanding.

My career commenced in nursing, a profession that provided invaluable experience with individual vulnerabilities and strengths. This helped develop my clinical proficiencies and a heightened ability to actively listen and offer compassionate support.

One of the most significant periods of my life was when I collaborated with a neurosurgeon. It was more than just conventional clinical practice including healthcare management, organizing medical outreach programs, and medical tourism. This was the time where I not only learned more about patient care but also developed strategic thinking and refined organizational capabilities.

In 2017, I decided to make Dubai my new home, pursuing the world of healthcare in a different way – creating models for insurance companies. It showed me the business side of healthcare, making me think analytically and solve problems, all while keeping the patient experience in mind.

But through all of that, the empathy I learned as a nurse never left me. It actually became the driving force behind me taking the leap into entrepreneurship.

In 2020, I started Malhi Healthcare Services, focusing on occupational health for corporate sectors including marine and oil & gas. For me, it's about using my healthcare background to really look out for the well-being of people in a demanding field.

In 2021, I launched Malhi Building Cleaning Services. I strongly believe in understanding the client's needs and delivering with care makes all the difference.

Presently, I am privileged to lead multiple thriving enterprises in Dubai, supported by a dedicated team that shares a commitment to excellence and a human-centered approach. My journey, from my roots in Punjab to the highly-competitive business environment of Dubai, stands as a testament to the power of empathy – a guiding principle that continues to inform my leadership and drive meaningful impact.
