I'm Julien Paredes, a seasoned Blockchain & Metaverse Consultant and Strategic Advisor, deeply immersed in the digital transformation of today's business landscape. My journey in the metaverse reached a pinnacle as the Partnerships Manager at Boson Protocol, where we pioneered the world's first Metaverse Fashion Week, collaborating with iconic brands like Tommy Hilfiger, adidas, Lacoste, IKKS and more.

Before diving into the digital realm, I dedicated over a decade to empowering civil societies through NGOs, touching on education, governance, agriculture, healthcare, and the economy. My advocacy extended to the halls of the EU Parliament and the French Assembly, where I lobbied for citizen-centric policies.

As an entrepreneur, I co-founded a start-up that revolutionized fundraising for NGOs by harnessing the power of video games & eSports, leading to significant partnerships with industry giants like RIOT Games.

Since 2013, my blockchain odyssey has seen me don multiple hats as a Project Manager, Advisor, and Consultant, honing a robust understanding of blockchain mechanics and adoption strategies.

I launched Wikiverse, a community-led web3 educational directory, further cementing my commitment to making blockchain technology accessible and comprehensible to all.

During my time at Boson Protocol, I spearheaded partnerships in the Metaverse & Web3 spaces, leading to the groundbreaking launch of PORTAL in Decentraland and the inception of the first-ever Fashion Week in the Metaverse.

Most recently, I've led strategic partnerships at Tropee, empowering creators to engage with their communities through NFTs and driving forward the notion that every digital interaction should be as rewarding as it is engaging.

✪ Project managed a research piece for one of the world’s largest toy producers that helped them answer whether they should partner with leading retailers to promote a new product range. Displayed ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.

✪ Advised a Swiss fashion start-up on how to build brand awareness via digital methods. The two-month project sharpened their business focus and provided them with a solid platform to take product to market.

✪ Developed a leading indicator of retailer market entries and compiled a report on the internationalisation of online retailers and how to effectively access emerging e-commerce and m-commerce markets.

✪ Established relationships with journalists in order to promote PMI data on a global scale, regularly contributing to the @MarkitEconomics Twitter feed, which has over 20,000 followers and ranks highly on Business Insider's list of 101 feeds to follow in finance. 
 
✪ Spearheaded the development of the HSBC Emerging Markets Index (EMI), an indicator of the economic and business health of the world’s emerging and fastest growing markets.

✪ Periodic report writing on economic conditions means I am able to generate concise and engaging text in a short time frame. I learnt to plan, research and structure my reports effectively. Providing feedback on the written work of colleagues also sharpened my eye for detail.
