On A Mission To Help Jobseekers By Networking.

I’m interested in Junior Social Media or Community Management roles. 

Since April 2022, this LinkedIn page has grown from 0 to 18.5k followers organically, in a little under four years. 

I’ve achieved this by creating networking and mostly support-focused content aimed at helping other jobseekers.

Through this work, I’ve built an engaged and active community by posting consistently and actively engaging in comments and discussions.

I plan and write LinkedIn posts with a strong focus on audience interests, clarity, and approachability, adapting content based on what resonates most with the community.

I’ve also helped keep this space safe by taking appropriate action when needed, including reminding the community to stay alert to scams and maintaining respectful, supportive discussions.

I also have a few years experience of moderating for a few other social media accounts/pages.

I’ve also had a dream for the past 17 years to start my own online creative business and I am taking steps towards this, but as I have been unemployed for 5+ years I am searching for a WFH paid job I can do alongside.

I wouldn’t usually keep asking BUT: 

This job market has defeated me. 

It’s been a long 5+ years with no job or income since I was made redundant from my full time position as a Retail Assistant in a kitchen shop in August 2020. 

I’ve tried so hard to find work and have applied to 2k+ jobs since. 

I’ve had about 2-3 handfuls of interviews in that time, a ton of rejections and more applications have been completely ignored than ever. 

This experience has made me feel lost and overwhelmed, frustrated and upset. 

I have a dream to start my own online creative business and I AM taking steps towards that, however, I know overnight success is unlikely and therefore, I believe I still need to find work alongside starting. 

I never expected to be unemployed for so long and I’m extremely worried about everything. 

I’ve kept applying to paid jobs even when I’ve felt like giving up. 

I’ve put in the effort. 
I’ve done the interviews. 

And I’ve nothing to show for it… 

So here I am, letting you know that I’m still very much open to work. 

I’m open to WFH positions in social media, community management or admin support for creative start-ups.

Operations Manager

Responsible for communicating directly with Fairway’s prestigious Onboarding Point Team to relay consistent and updated information regarding the current onboarding branches, easily up to 30 at a time. This included scheduling, hosting and assisting on onboarding calls, keeping updated records, providing and maintaining consistent, quality care and encouragement of the incoming branches during the chaos of transition, as well as explaining, relaying and connecting our resources to the needs of individual managers and branches.

As the first in this role, I was responsible for first impressions and the coordination of the entire process of a prospective candidate’s Onboarding, to include initial outreach and communication, remaining cognizant of confidentiality needs, travel plans, transportation, lodging, meals, meeting schedules with our executive team, remaining available at all hours throughout the stress of the transition for the candidate, and being the first person to meet the candidate at the airport, as well as the candidate’s “closing session” while in transport to catch their flight home.

Manage the daily training schedules of up to 13 competitive Dressage horses in full training to include feedings, round-the-clock individualized care and regimented customized training both under saddle, on the ground, and at competitions. Manage routine vet and farrier visits for each horse to productively tend to each individual horse’s health needs, requirements and necessities in order for each to continue performing at peak performance as an equine athlete. Engage with clients on a daily basis to keep them updated on their horse’s health, training, and schedule, which often changes on a day to day basis. Work directly with head trainer Benjamin Pfabe to ensure a tight, productive and successful business that runs 7 days a week.
