Currently in discovery mode, looking for my next adventure in ML/AI. Feeling blessed to be an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at my hometown university, where I can give back to the local startup community.

Previously co-founded a B2B SaaS company, where I envisioned and built a marketing technology product from mock-up to its first million in revenue in less than 12 months. I grew that startup until it was acquired by a strategic buyer, where I led product development for its ABM division.

My success stems from these principles:

Just wrapped my session on the ARMTech Innovation Stage. TLDR: the market is crowded with AI-everything. So we set out to show something different:

In a live 4‑way champion/challenger, Kompato emerged as the top performer on a $240M charged-off personal loan portfolio.

Humans should be reserved for exceptions and leverage -- not for scale. 

The objective is to increase the value-per-human by shifting volume to AI while making humans more effective on the handful of accounts where they change outcomes. 

Key principles to consider on this journey:

1) Triage: clear boundaries driven by confidence + rules

2) Exception categories that should almost always hit humans

3) Human role design — make humans specialists, not generalists

4) Routing & handoff: design the UX and the audit trail

5) Compliance, safety, and governance

6) Human Workforce strategy (redefine careers; re-skill & redeploy)

7) All of the above, measured by metrics that matter (automation rate; escalation rate and reasons; time-to-resolution and average handle time for AI vs. human cases; recovery per FTE and cost-per-dollar-collected; compliance exceptions per thousand contacts; and more)
