I became a lawyer because I thought it was my calling. By 15, I was convinced it was my future. I spent 8 years in law, even built my own firm.

But the reality? It wasn’t what I expected.

The system was broken. Mentorship was non-existent. The industry was male-dominated. And no matter how hard I tried, I never truly fit.

Walking away wasn’t easy. It felt like failure. But it wasn’t.

Because in truth, my passion had always been elsewhere.

I grew up with challenge after challenge:

↳ Knock-kneed and major surgery at 6 (I had to relearn how to walk)
↳ Scoliosis with chronic back pain
↳ Severe IBS and acid reflux
↳ Wrist arthritis that led to a partial fusion and bone graft

Those setbacks forced me to explore the power of health, strength, and resilience. Over time, it became clear: fitness wasn’t just something I loved. It was my purpose.

Today, I coach men and women in their 30s and 40s who feel stuck. The pants are tighter. The belly’s bigger. Energy is lower. Strength feels like a thing of the past.

Hope you’re enjoying good food, good company, and a real chance to slow down and be present today.

It means more than you know.

Holidays have always been hard for me since I’ve been on my own most my life.

And honestly, I usually try to distrct myself by staying in normal routine as much as possible.

Ran a 5k this morning, taking a few calls, working, hitting the gym and just keeping my mind moving.

I thought this year would feel better.

It's definitely a bit different because I do have some great people in my life — friends, teammates, and a community here in FL.

And that’s new... and it's such a blessing. 

But there are still a ton of thoughts and emotions getting kicked up for me.

If you’re someone who feels alone today, or if the holidays are hard for you too — know you’re not the only one.

You can still make the day meaningful in your own way. Move your body, eat something good, call someone you care about, and reflect on how far you’ve come.

You can’t expect to change if you keep doing the same shit over and over.

If you’re unhappy, do something about it.

Try new things.
Build new habits.
Meet new people.
Put yourself in new environments.

When I was at my lowest, I had to take charge and work on my health.

When I felt lost in business, I had to take charge and invest my life savings into a coach.

When I moved to Florida, I had to take charge and push myself to meet new people and show up to events every week.

Every one of those things scared the hell out of me.
They were uncomfortable. They stretched me in ways I didn’t think I could handle.

But they’re also what built the life I have today.

Like me, most people aren’t unmotivated - they’re just stuck in routines that drain their energy and keep them from growing.

Wake up. Work. Take care of everyone else. Crash. Repeat.

And deep down, you know there’s more for you.

You want to feel stronger, more confident, more alive.

But you can’t create a new version of yourself while living the same day on repeat.

Growth requires discomfort.
It means saying no to what’s easy and choosing what’s necessary.

That might mean waking up earlier to train, prepping meals instead of grabbing takeout, or setting boundaries that protect your energy.

It’s not supposed to be comfortable.

But staying comfortable is exactly what’s keeping you miserable.

If you want change, you have to start living like the person you’re trying to become, not the one you’ve been settling for.

I spent years laying around, eating junk, and binging Netflix.

At the time, I thought I was doing what I needed - resting, escaping, taking it easy.

But the truth is, I wasn’t living. I was hiding.

I’ve relapsed more times than I can count.

Back into depression. Back into binge eating. Back into bad habits.

But I never stayed there.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

1. Relapse isn’t failure. Falling off doesn’t make you weak, staying down does.

2. Shame keeps you stuck. The faster you let go of guilt, the faster you get back on track.

3. One decision can reset everything. One walk, one workout, one healthy meal - that’s all it takes to rebuild momentum.

4. You won’t feel ready. Every comeback starts when you take action before motivation shows up.

5. Relapse doesn’t erase progress. The lessons, discipline, and habits are still in you - you just have to reactivate them.

I’ve fallen off more times than I can count.
But I’ve always gotten back up.

If you’re stuck in the cycle, remember: relapse isn’t the end. It’s part of the journey.

The last couple months have shown me something I wasn’t fully expecting...

The massive gap between the standards I hold for my business and the way a lot of “well-known” coaching companies actually operate.

Since hiring new coaches for myself, the contrast has been insane.

The care, the intention, the support, the communication has been entirely disappointing.

Now I don’t expect everyone to operate the way I do.

But damn, it’s crazy how many “reputable” coaches are running sloppy systems with zero intention behind what they do.

It’s discouraging when I’m looking for guidance to get to the next level and operate at an elite level.

So I can’t imagine being someone who’s brand new, overwhelmed, or less experienced trying to navigate all of this.

It sucks and the industry makes it way too easy for people to fall through the cracks.

But I’m choosing to use this as fuel.

It’s given me even more confidence in who I am, how we run things, and the vision I have for my business moving forward.

I want to be the best in this space.

I want a reputation for unmatched service, care, intention, and attention to detail.

I want every client to feel supported and taken seriously — not just another number.

Building a team, hearing their feedback, and seeing how aligned we are has only made this clearer.

There’s been a fire lit under me like no other.

Standards matter.
Care matters.
Follow-through matters.
Actually giving a shit matters.

We operate differently at Unbreakable for a reason, and I’ll never sacrifice that.

People deserve better. And I’ll die on that hill.

Getting in shape isn’t just physical. It’s psychological.

You’re not just changing your body.
You’re changing the way you think, act, and show up every day.

Because when you train consistently, fuel your body well, and keep promises to yourself, it bleeds into everything else.

You start carrying yourself differently. 
You handle stress better.

Just because you’re busy doesn’t mean you’re growing. 

Busyness isn’t progress, sometimes it’s avoidance.

Slow down. Get intentional.

The stillness will show you what actually needs to change.

There was a time I couldn’t eat a meal without guilt.

Couldn’t rest without shame.

Couldn’t look in the mirror without hating who I saw.

I thought that was normal.

Here’s what actually helped me break the cycle:

1. It started with control

When life felt out of control, I controlled my body, every calorie, every workout. But the tighter I held on, the worse it got.

2. I chased extremes because I hated stillness

Overworking, overtraining, overeating... it wasn’t discipline. It was avoiding what I didn’t want to feel.

3. Every crash taught me the same lesson

My “doing better” always meant doing more. Nothing changed until I slowed down.

4. Balance felt lazy at first

Rest days and eating more made me feel guilty. But balance isn’t laziness, it’s operating from peace instead of panic.

5. Fitness became freedom

When I stopped using fitness to punish myself, it became healing. 

And this is exactly where so many of my clients get stuck:

- Trying to be perfect.
- Feeling guilty after one “off” day.
- Swinging between all-in and all-out.
- Believing discipline means extremes.

And thinking one misstep erases all their progress.
But it doesn’t.

The real transformation happens when you finally learn how to build habits you can sustain... even on your busiest, messiest days.

I don’t trust a fitness coach who’s out of shape.
I don’t trust a relationship expert who can’t keep a relationship.
I don’t trust a business coach who’s never built a real business.

Because leadership isn’t about what you say, it’s about what you live.

Over the last year and a half, I’ve been all in on developing as a leader.

And what I’ve learned is simple:

It’s purely about standards.

If you expect a high standard from others, you have to set it first.
If you want people to follow you, you have to embody the values you preach.
If you want to attract great people, you have to be one.

Anyone can talk about discipline, integrity, or excellence.

But living it every single day, when no one’s watching is where real leadership is built.

People don’t follow words.
They follow energy.

And if your actions don’t match your message, no one’s taking you seriously.

I still really struggle with balance, being fully transparent.

And truthfully, I’ve let myself slip a bit these last few months while navigating a lot of stressors and tough emotions.

I don’t like how I look right now - my body doesn’t reflect the standards I hold for myself.

And because I’m someone who sets the standard for health and fitness, that pressure feels even heavier.

I’m in a phase of healing, recovery, and pushing toward a higher level of performance and physique.

But the flip side is that I still slip into this mindset of needing to be perfect, especially when I’m not happy with where I’m at.

Hitting all my macros every day.
Not allowing myself to go out to eat.
Feeling like one “off” moment means I’m failing.

It even got to the point where I was with a friend and they offered me a piece of chocolate... and I said no because it wouldn’t fit my macros.

That’s not a way to live.

And I know so many of my clients feel this same internal battle - wanting results, wanting to raise their standards, but slipping into perfectionism and the all-or-nothing mindset.

But health isn’t about restriction or fear.
It’s not about earning food or being perfect with your plan.

It’s learning how to live, enjoy, and still take care of yourself.

I thought I had fully overcome this, but life will always test you.

And right now, I’m being challenged in new ways and working through it.

It’s uncomfortable, but it’s also a massive growth experience.

If you’re in the same place, you’re not alone.

And this is exactly why I coach the way I do.

Because I’ve lived both sides — the perfectionism and the freedom.

And my job is to help you build a level of health and confidence that supports your life... not controls it.

It’s so easy to get caught up in saying yes.

For the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m building real community and growing a ton in my relationships.

But I’m also introverted and have a very short social battery life.

And lately, I’ve been packing my schedule full to the point I’m overdoing it...

And I didn’t even realize it until I hit a wall.

I’ve been so drained socially that my cup has basically stayed empty the last few weeks.

And when your cup is empty, you don’t feel like yourself.

So now I’m having to be more intentional with saying no.

Not accepting every invitation.
Not feeling obligated to show up for everyone else.
Not sacrificing myself just to make others comfortable.

And I know a lot of you relate to that.

Because this is exactly what so many high achievers struggle with.

You say yes to your job.
Yes to your kids.
Yes to your friends.
Yes to every responsibility that pops up.

And the only person who gets the “no” is you.
