As a Developer Experience Engineer, I blend my technical knowledge of product management, developer tooling, and ecosystem partnerships with a passion for inspiring and enabling developers. My role involves building connections between the product and the larger developer community and creating clear pathways for adoption, growth, and technical excellence.

In my first year at LaunchDarkly,  this has taken shape through:
- Shaping Product Strategy with Developer Feedback: By actively engaging with the developer community, I’ve gathered and translated technical feedback into actionable insights for LaunchDarkly’s product teams

- Driving Developer Adoption through advocacy: At key industry events such as re:invent
, KCDC, and PyData NYC, I served as both a technical advocate and a product evangelist. I delivered talks that demystified feature flagging, AI integrations, and experimentation, providing developers with the practical knowledge they need to succeed. My KCDC talk, rated 4.65/5, was later used in sales and internal training, demonstrating its lasting impact.

- Creating Developer-Focused Technical Content: I produced high-impact technical content, including the Guide to Experimentation, one of the top-performing pieces on LaunchDarkly’s site. My blog posts and tutorials not only drove traffic but also positioned LaunchDarkly as a leader in their space. 

- Leading Developer Initiatives at Scale: At our inaugural in-person Galaxy Conference, I led our developer day initiatives.  I brought together technical thought leaders from organizations like AWS, Google, and OpenAI to discuss large-scale experimentation and feature management. My ability to lead these conversations from both a technical and community perspective helped position LaunchDarkly as a must-have tool in high-performance development environments.

Howdy, I’m Erin 👋🏻! 

I’m a (very online) developer who’s passionate about building for builders, entertaining education, and decreasing time to that Aha! moment! I’ve worked with amazing folks at companies like LaunchDarkly, Orbit, Unsplash, OpenSauced, and NYU to foster developer communities, drive adoption new techniques and tools, and create meaningful educational programs.

By day, I shape product strategies through translating developer feedback to actionable insights, foster relationships with developer communities, and teach folks about everything from feature flagging, experimentation, data science, and the rapidly growing world of AI. I’ve been lucky enough to share ideas at events like AWS re:Invent, KCDC, DevOps Days, PyCon, and PyData Berlin.  I've gotg a special love for creating technical content that’s not just informative but actually fun (from interactive togglin' games, pokedex challenges, and reality tv scenario generators)

Oh, and when I’m not geeking out on the internet, you’ll probably find me on stage doing stand-up comedy or producing podcasts and shows around NYC. I've been featured in the New York Times, Financial Times, LA Times and in an upcoming documentary for producing experimental comedy series and variety shows.  Life’s too short not to have fun with it, right?
