The consultancy is led by Josh Wheeler who has 10 years of experience in broadcast PR (with a further five in traditional PR). His award-winning work spans some of the leading broadcast consultancies in the UK – he is now aiming to reshape the way we look at broadcast PR.

Rochdale Borough Council

Temporary contract working within the Council's Communications Team.

Two primary focuses;

Council's Lead on Social Media- Changing the Council's approach to social media. Fundamental to this was emphasising the importance of engaging in direct two-way communication with our residents, and the embracing of new platforms.

Press Office- I also operated as one of the Communications Team's Press Officers, writing proactive releases and handling reactive enquries.

Publicising the Graduate Students' Association’s events and other functions as part of the University's Communications team. As an Officer of the GSA Executive Committee, I was also a GSA Trustee as per the Charities Act.

Prior to becoming self-employed, I'd gained over ten years' experience in communications and PR roles across a range of organisations, from a small charity to mid-size PR agencies to large public sector bodies.

As a self-employed PR consultant, I now work with direct clients of my own, but also operate as a freelancer providing white label services to creative agencies wanting to add to the services they offer or to PR agencies in need of an experienced extra pair of hands.
