I've been a builder my whole life. In grade school, I made board games to play with my friends. In high school, I wrote short stories and a novel. I've drawn and painted since before I can remember.

14 years ago, I founded my first startup, raised funding, hired engineers, and brought my vision to market. This ignited my passion for tech.

Next, I managed a team of 36 engineers at a publicly traded SaaS company. 

Since then, I've started 3 other companies and led teams in product management, enterprise customer success, and sales. I built 3 GTM motions from the ground up and led Lavender to $1 million ARR + their series A before striking out on my own as a fractional operator and advisor.

↳ Write a clear headline. The first 10 words matter 10x more than the rest
↳ Complete your profile
↳ Post and comment thoughtfully. Your activity section is the first place people go if they peep your profile before accepting. You don't have to post everyday, but you do have to post with quality.

Every time, I notice the same pattern: people who’ve just joined bring a kind of raw curiosity that’s hard to find later in the rush of execution. They ask questions that most others stop asking: Why do we do it this way?

Some are quiet observers, some want to debate every process, and a few are already thinking about how they can make things better from day one. I love that mix. It reminds me that real growth doesn’t come from experience alone; it comes from curiosity backed by initiative.

That’s the best part about these sessions. They’re not about introducing people to the company; they’re about rediscovering it through their eyes.

I recently shifted to South Bopal, and it made me think about how far Ahmedabad has come.

There was a time when the city lived within the char darwaza, compact, cultural, and close-knit. 
Over the years, it grew outward with purpose, stretching its boundaries to include places that were once just quiet outskirts.

Now, areas like Bopal and Shela are buzzing with life, construction, and opportunity. But there’s another thing you notice before the skyline, the air.
 
The fine layer of dust that hangs during rush hour, especially near construction sites, makes you realize how alive and dynamic the city really is. It’s not a complaint, just an observation from someone who spends his days studying air.

As a father, I think about how my daughter will grow up in this evolving city. As a COO, I consider how technology and planning can make this growth sustainable. Simple steps, such as localized dust monitoring, real-time alerts, and improved site practices, can make a significant difference.

Ahmedabad has always balanced tradition with progress. The challenge and opportunity now is to make sure our growth story includes clean air as part of that progress. 

Because a city that breathes well, grows well.

Pune’s air just got a promotion: from 23rd place to the Top 10!

When I read that Pune has moved up from the 23rd position to the Top 10 in India’s clean air rankings, it felt personal. I lived in Pune for a few years, and I remember mornings where the air was so thick with dust from construction that you could taste it before breakfast.

What struck me most this time wasn’t just the rank, it was the way the municipal corporation is mandating real change. Construction sites now have to install real-time dust monitoring, control measures like water sprinkling are being enforced, and data is becoming public. That’s not just compliance, it’s accountability.

For me, this is where the real transformation begins. Rankings are a milestone, but what matters is how people feel the difference in their daily breath. An EHS officer once told me during a pitch, “I don’t need twenty charts. I need one alert that tells me when the dust is unsafe.” That clarity is what regulations like Pune’s dust control mandate can create, simple, direct signals that drive action.

As someone building systems at Oizom, I see how policy, technology, and lived experience intersect here. The city’s improvement isn’t just about machines or mandates; it’s about giving people back confidence in the air they breathe.

Global expansion isn’t blocked by borders; it’s blocked by compliance.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in scaling globally is this: products don’t cross borders, compliance does.

When we first expanded, I thought the toughest part would be manufacturing at scale or building distributor networks. But what really slowed us down were region-specific compliance hurdles.

- Europe (CE Mark): rigorous safety and conformity testing.

- United States (UL Mark): product safety certification that demands precision in design and documentation.

- Japan (Data Handling): strict permissions and privacy laws before you can even deploy devices.

Each of these takes months of preparation, endless documentation, and careful audits. Miss a single requirement, and the deal you’ve been working on for months can collapse overnight.

For many founders and operators, compliance feels like a box-ticking exercise. But here’s the truth: compliance is a competitive advantage.
The companies that build these processes early don’t just pass audits fasterthey scale with confidence, build trust across borders, and unlock markets their competitors can’t even enter.

In my role, I’ve seen how a proactive compliance mindset turns into real business outcomes. It’s not the most glamorous part of global expansion, but it’s often the difference between “almost” and “achieved.”
