I've been a builder my whole life. In grade school, I made board games to play with my friends. In high school, I wrote short stories and a novel. I've drawn and painted since before I can remember.

14 years ago, I founded my first startup, raised funding, hired engineers, and brought my vision to market. This ignited my passion for tech.

Next, I managed a team of 36 engineers at a publicly traded SaaS company. 

Since then, I've started 3 other companies and led teams in product management, enterprise customer success, and sales. I built 3 GTM motions from the ground up and led Lavender to $1 million ARR + their series A before striking out on my own as a fractional operator and advisor.

I dream of creating new technology that changes the world, together with my friends and network.

↳ Have a friendly and professional profile photo (mine could be better)
↳ Write a clear headline. The first 10 words matter 10x more than the rest
↳ Complete your profile
↳ Post and comment thoughtfully. Your activity section is the first place people go if they peep your profile before accepting. You don't have to post everyday, but you do have to post with quality.

I just helped a new client update their LinkedIn profiles and start posting. They started booking inbound leads immediately.

Oversaw HR functions for 1000+ employees in a 4000+ organization. Consulted with senior level executives, directors, and managers regarding talent acquisition strategy, compensation and benefits, staffing and planning, onboarding process, HRIS, education and training, organizational development, and human capital.

Talent Acquisition initiatives focused on the candidate experience, networking and outreach strategy, coaching management on interview technique (assessing soft skills vs. just hard skills—especially in a clinically heavy environment), compensation analysis and salary negotiation (base, sign-on, relo, and bonus), job description design, geo-targeting location assessment, staffing firm/agency relations, and new management training for ATS and HRIS system usage.

Led projects pertaining to market scarce position analysis that involved frequent brainstorming sessions with senior/middle management. Reviewed recruitment pipelines and personally reached out to prior candidates who had turned down offers. Discussed their compensation negotiations and gleaned from their perspective on the total candidate experience with the organization (in doing so, renegotiated with the candidate). Scheduled meetings with internal incumbents in an effort to understand their experience with management as well as their perspective on current market rates/regional competitors. Conducted exit interviews with internal incumbents in market scarce positions who were departing from the organization.

Partnered with Talent Acquisition to review compensation calculations, relocation and sign-on bonus, current postings/job boards utilized, and interview style/etiquette. Collaborated with Compensation on market surveys, internal equity, and adjusted rate ranges as necessary. Reviewed and contributed to social media recruitment-marketing initiatives (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). Contributed to the construction of in-house training programs when data indicated that the market was depleted.

Full life cycle recruiting within the Talent Acquisition Department. Focused on recruiting management, director, tech, and market scarce positions. Worked with senior level executives, directors, and hiring managers to build competitive compensation plans for market scarce positions.
 
Filled 168 jobs within first 10 months of hire. Helped double our market scarce Physical Therapist acquisition rate in 1/4th of our prior acquisition time by acquiring 6 full-time Physical Therapists in 10 months compared to 3 in 38 months.

Researched, strategized, and executed recruiting plans ranging from social media/sourcing initiatives, career fairs, university partnerships, etc. Coordinated external partnerships to offer our candidates extensive community tours; facilitated plan to offer new hires increased residential housing options. Sourced from LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, Monster, and specialty job boards. Quickly adapt to new ATS/CRM.

Helped assess shared services and onboarding process and flow with the Director of Talent Acquisition as well as evaluated ATS behavioral assessment solutions. Sourced, screened, interviewed, discussed compensation, helped with onboarding, background screening/drug testing, I-9 verification, etc. Collected feedback from hiring managers as pulse measurements of client satisfaction and assessed desired skills, behaviors, traits, and attributes of needed positions.

Coordinated and participated in job fairs. Participated in a high-volume and fast paced atmosphere (no stranger to deadlines!). Consistently maintained a solid pipeline of qualified candidates at all times. Sourced from Taleo, Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder, Craigslist, and LinkedIn. Survey of positions recruited for: Asset Protection Manager, Membership Sales Manager, Night Zone Lead, Front End Supervisor, Deli Supervisor, Cashier, Custodian. Generated pipelines through partnerships with local Universities/High Schools and organized internal and external career fairs. Sourced via PeopleAnswers job board ATS features, Myspace (dating myself here!), Craigslist, and by networking through word of mouth as a local community ambassador. Engaged in retention strategy to help decrease employee turnover rate by 19%.

Membership Acquisition and Retention Sales Manager: Oversaw the membership sales
and front line team (20+ employees), partook in the interview and sourcing process as the hiring manager for the sales team. Worked with the HR department to implement local recruitment initiatives ranging from career fairs and community outreach. Focused on customer relations (top 10% in positive feedback within the chain), upheld employee customer service expectations and monitored sales performance, Membership Complaint Resolution Captain.

Sales Statistics: Final Yearly Membership Fee Income was $265,900 coming it at +$48,995 over goal. Spring Membership Acquisition Plan (MAP) Conversion Rate: 14.1% positive to plan, ranking #13 out of 199 stores in the chain. Fall MAP: Paid to Date (PTD) Paid Memberships Goal was +29.9% over goal vs. chain +3%. PTD conversion goal variance +14.8% vs. chain +8.8%. Increase over previous year conversion goal was +14.6% vs. chain +9%
