Periods of focused solitude are essential to unlocking deep creativity and original solutions, especially in the early stages of building something novel.

These quiet periods also safeguard against the pressure, direct or unconscious, that others have on your success in their terms.

In a world filled with constant noise, trends, and pressures, reflection time can help founders pursue authentic ideas rather than follow others' desires.

Some key points here:

· Real breakthroughs require founders to step away from prevailing opinions and hot trends. Building truly innovative products and solutions means not copying others or obsessing competitors, which often leads to mediocrity.

I used to believe quietness meant limitation. In meetings, I’d watch animated speakers and assume they must have some natural leadership spark I lacked.

Some of those animated founders had brilliant ideas that never came to fruition. Without process and discipline, ideas are meaningless.

Over time, I’ve learned that what looked to others like hesitation was actually focus and thoughtfulness, and formed a key ingredient in success.
