a) Reporting to Thailand MD and APAC CFO (dotted line), oversees the OCS Group’s largest overseas subsidiary in Thailand at USD 300M revenues with a workforce of 30k employees. Responsible for the management of Finance, Payroll, Procurement, Facilities Mgmt. & Supply chain (~130 headcounts, 10 direct reports). 

b) Leading the organization’s business transformation & digitization initiate as a Project Sponsor, Lead. In Finance, currently driving the implementation of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) in bank reconciliation, Procure to Pay. Finance Lead & Sponsor in its HRIS implementation project underway to SAP Success Factors.

c) Introduced real time P&L and operational metrics (Credit Notes, Overtime) reporting via adoption of PowerBI tool across Account Managers to GMs in the company.

d) Reorganization of financial reporting and accounting with the utilization of PowerBI, SAP reporting enhancements and clean-up of the operating balance sheets.

e) Sustainability lead for PCS Thailand - responsible for driving a new sustainability agenda under the pillars of environment, social mobility, communications and carbon reporting under a cross functional team.

a)	Reporting to the Regional AMEA CFO and a dotted reporting line to the Country Managing Director, leader of the Malaysia Finance (including FSSC India unit), Procurement and Payroll teams (~200 headcounts, 10 direct reports).

b)	Responsible for the country’s USD 150.0M P&L across cash solutions, manned security and electronic security solutions business lines. 

c)	Strategic business partner to Country Managing Director, supporting cross functionally to deliver business objectives and commercial growth strategies via commercial FP&A deliverables and data analytics (Tableau).

d)	Support the business with a sharp focus on cost leadership and operational efficiency – leading the robotic process automation (RPA) initiative in cash reconciliation via automation to deliver USD 0.5M in annual cost savings.

e)	Lead the treasury and cash management efforts of country – built strong banking relationships to raise USD 15.0M hire purchase facility and USD 25.0M short term line of credit to support group’s dividend repatriation policy.

f)	Supported group’s strategic M&A initiative for separation of cash and secure solutions businesses as the country’s separation initiative lead for Finance, Legal, Regulatory and Data streams.

Finance Director

Laureate International Universities

a) Acting CFO for Monash South Africa and Finance Director, Laureate South Africa (private vehicle of US listed, private equity backed Laureate International) - Laureate's first investment into the Sub Saharan African region.

b) Reporting to the Laureate EMEAA Region CFO with the responsibility of the Sub Saharan African USD 35.0M P&L, business development and oversight of the Finance, Procurement, IT functions (managing a staff headcount of >50) within Laureate South Africa and its flagship investment, Monash SA

c) Lead financial and strategic due diligence process in evaluating potential business investments, partnership opportunities and new business development leads within the Sub-Saharan continent.

d) Develop Board and C-suite level presentation materials on a regular basis, includes BOD meeting materials, Budget and Long Range Plan presentations, to regional CFO, global leadership, private equity investors and external stakeholders.

e) Conducted full life-cycle of M&A review (finance), financial & tax due diligence and post transaction finance & operations integration in South Africa, India, Australia and Indonesia. 

f) Prior to South Africa assignment, was FP&A Director in Laureate AMEA region (based out of Kuala Lumpur) focusing on oversight of Laureate Asia and MENA region (investments in Saudi Arabia) and was responsible for setting up the Laureate South Africa operations.

g) Successful implementation of ERP systems PeopleSoft, Procurement Module Fraxion, Debtors Mgmt. System Excalibur in Monash South Africa and Laureate South Africa

Finance Director, Laureate South Africa 

Aircel

a) Reporting directly to MCB COO / Head of Aircel Ltd. India (subsidiary of MCB), entrusted with the establishment of a robust Operational & Reporting Framework and Governance Model in Aircel Ltd & Maxis Berhad.

b) Seconded to India as part of the business turnaround strategy of Aircel India and acted as the Chief of Staff and Finance Specialist to MCB COO / Head of Aircel Ltd. India.

c) Co designed the Aircel Strategic Plan 2012 – 2013, a 2-year business turnaround plan for the company and the establishment of a national, regional and circle level performance delivery framework.

d) Worked alongside McKinsey & Co in the Maxis Strategic Framework 2011 - 2016. Development of a new 5-year strategic blue print and business model to bring the organisation ‘above and beyond’ telecom.

Finance Specialist & Chief of Staff, OpCo Head Office

KPMG Advisory

a) Development of a 5 year Strategic Business Plan for MATRADE, the national trade promotion agency of Malaysia. Assumed the Project Manager role in this engagement. Among skill sets utilised for this engagement are strategic planning, GAP Analysis, development of organisation key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct of senior management strategic retreat and liaison with internal & external stakeholders.

b) As the Project Lead, developed the State Strategic Plan 2010 – 2015 and State Industrial Master Plan 2010 - 2015 for the state of Kedah in Malaysia. Skill sets utilised for this engagement are strategic planning, financial modelling & analysis, macroeconomic trends analysis and forecast, lead strategic review workshops, GAP analysis and liaison with key state administration & state stakeholders on the future economic direction of the state of Kedah in Malaysia. 

c) Business Process Reengineering (BPR) of the policies and procedures of a newly formed subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House (KFH). Appointed Team Leader and led a small group of executives in the project. Skill set utilised for this engagement is process audit, business process improvement, GAP analysis, process mapping & procedures, transformation management and communications workshops and liaison with C level personnel.

d) Development of a Business Implementation Plan for a Polymer Park in Malaysia under the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) of Malaysia. Led a small group of executives in the project. Skill sets utilised for this engagement are market trend analysis & forecast, financial modelling & analysis, strategic planning, performance bench marking with other leading polymer parks and liaison with C level personnel.

Senior Associate, Strategy

Sunway Group

1. Sunway Finance Shared Services

a) Conceptualizing and development of new problem solving and communication tool called the 'Yellow Card System' to enhance intra company communication within the Shared Services Centre. It is currently adopted across Sunway Shared Service as part of KPI measurement and employee performance tracking.

b) Conceptualized and implemented 4M Analysis Tool, which is a Knowledge Management (KM) initiative to document and map Finance related issues and solutions in the Sunway Group KM Portal.

c) Development of IT enabled solutions such as the Check Outsourcing (COS) system from Maybank &amp; HSBC to enhance cheque processing cycle time.

d) Development of Document Management System (DMS) for the Accounts Payable Team and overseeing change management initiatives in the Accounts Payable Dept. Responsible for the improvement in KPI delivery of payment processing in the Accounts Payable Team and the Document Management Centre Document Processing timeline

e) To develop Business Feasibility studies and Market Research Analysis on proposed investments and overseas expansion ventures (project-by-project basis). Successfully conducted Vietnam property market analysis for Sunway City Bhd 

2. Sunway Hatay &amp; Ocean Vietnam Posting

a) Managing the accounts &amp; finance operations in Sunway Vietnam which are backdated for approximately 6 months. Additional scope of work includes enlisting auditors to perform audit and training the new local finance staff basic book keeping and submission of management accounts on a monthly basis.

3. Sunway Medical Centre (SUNMED)

a) To lead reengineering initiatives of the Medical Records Department in SUNMED to ensure better delivery of medical records service and anticipating challenges faced during the 2007 SUNMED expansion plans. Review deployment of workforce, revamp of Medical Records Department's business procedures and develop new approaches for its customer &amp; stakeholders.

Management Associate

+ Global citizen with a firm belief that investment into education uplifts , transforms and grow societies. Based in Thailand with global career footprint in South Africa, India, Malaysia and Vietnam. Conducted investment reviews and due diligence in Indonesia, Australia, China and Vietnam.

+ Currently assuming the role of CFO Thailand for OCS UK owned PCS Thailand, reporting to country MD and Regional CFO, overseeing a USD 300.0M P&L, finance, payroll & procurement function and total workforce of 30k staff. Prior role in Facilities Management industry as Finance Director of G4S Malaysia, part FTSE public listed G4S Corp. and part of transition lead in its sale to Brinks Co (BCO), ASE listed Corp.

+ Management Consulting experience with KPMG Business Advisory in Malaysia; role encompasses leading and executing organisation business strategic plan formulation, proposed investment feasibility studies, business transformation programs, cost reduction strategies

+ Prior role as a Management Associate in Sunway Group Berhad. Part of the Finance Share Service Business Process Improvement team implementing process improvement and cost reduction programs across business units with a secondment stint to Vietnam.
