👋  I'm Joe. 

Nine years ago I was the guy who was too shy to speak to people at networking events. Even when I did pluck up the courage, it felt all people valued was my job title or my budget rather than me as a person.

I knew I wanted to meet other marketers and learn about marketing in a safe space, so when I couldn't find it, I made it.

The Marketing Meetup is a positively lovely community for marketers. (Basically, we all look after each other and treat one another as people first 😊)

Through good luck and hard work, in the years since, I (as part of a big team effort!) have built a global community of 50,000+ lovely marketers with a social following of 250k+.

Each week, we're lucky to have amazing guest speakers such as Mark Ritson, Rory Sutherland, Seth Godin and many more share time with our community - educating and connecting us all.

In addition to my own business, I am searching for a new full time position. My passion, powerful vision and mindset creates positive transformation and brings alignment to my work . 

I'm a human rights activist and advocate for neurodivergent individuals. I help others discover their authentic self through inner healing by creating safe trauma informed spaces that facilitate belonging, inclusion and equity for all.

I  worked for seven years in medical records and billing as a medical records clerk. I enjoyed working with our customers and clients to provide solutions and provide amazing customer support. I have over ten years of teaching/training, customer service, internet research, legal services and administrative experience. I excel at creating connections with clients and providing expedient and comprehensive services. I love working as part of a team ,training and leading others. 

I also do freelance work as a social media/email marketer and community manager. I'm adept at building community , creating engaging content and connecting people with information. I'm an expert at networking and enjoy connecting with like minded people and creating a positive impact through storytelling , advocacy and education.

I'm searching for a rewarding position that caters to my strengths. I have a lot of grit and an amazing work ethic. My positive mindset and ability to create solutions as challenges arise is a great asset to any organization. I love empathizing and connecting with others to help serve them as part of my job. I am an integral member of any team and excited to take on new challenges and grow my career.
