Plan, develop and implement long and short-term funding strategies, alongside the management of Group working capital.

Negotiation of terms on all Group funding deals, including tax planning and legal review.

Production of Group budgets and forecasts, reviewing in line with Group strategies.

Quarterly preparation and review of detailed Management Accounts, KPIs and Consolidated Accounts.

Site appraisal reviews, including purchasing strategy and legal reviews.

Development of external reporting materials – including investor presentations, loan covenant review documentation and statutory reporting.

Finance Director

ECCLESTON HOMES LIMITED

Budgets for next four years prepared and presented to shareholders as part of a wider funding project to move the business away from site specific development finance to a revolving credit facility (RCF).

Liaison with multiple finance providers, in relation to aforementioned RCF including provision of detailed models, showing three year facility-specific results and accompanying IRR and covenant test calculations.

Negotiating with existing finance providers, to reduce rates, success achieved in agreeing more favourable repayment plans and reductions in release fees.

Weekly cashflow forecasting rolled out across business.

Ownership of all Finance functions including Management Reporting, Statutory Reporting, Payroll and Financial Operations.

Head Of Finance

Full ownership of financial reporting, both internal and external, for c90 entities - including 24 development, 16 operational, 5 management, 2 international, with the remaining entities being funding/holding companies.

Lead of external audit and review of external annual reporting for aforementioned entities, including the submission of c65 sets of statutory accounts.

Review and challenge of budgets for all operational and management companies, followed by presentation to Board of Directors.

Analysis of investor yields, cost control, revenue generation and associated impact on rental provisions, advising Directors and suggesting efficiencies to be implemented.

Liaison with funders on existing facilities, requesting drawdowns and providing quarterly detailed calculations plus commentary for financial covenants.

Supporting Finance Director and liaising with potential funders and lawyers on new transactions - including negotiation of commercially viable rates, covenants and reporting requirements. Review of term sheets and finance agreements prior to completion. Preparation of proforma balance sheets and accounting for transactions, post completion.

Managing and developing a team of 12.

Adhoc support for Finance Director and Board of Directors, in relation to funding and F, P & A.

Financial Controller

Preparation and review of management accounts for 4 divisions - Vita Student, City Suites, The Laundrette and Select Property, including KPI analysis. Presentation of results to key stakeholders.

Developed a suite of control templates to ensure that c80 entities, reconciled by team of 10, were accurate.

Management and review of payroll function, provision of payroll advice to both HR function and employees.

Responsible for preparation and presentation of Group and individual subsidiary budgets and forecasts, including monthly analysis of actuals versus budgets.

VAT reporting for multiple VAT groups, including liaison with HMRC on issues, such as partial exemption.

Group Finance Manager

Upon joining the organisation, implementation of control and reconciliation processes, following a period of substantial growth, where books and records were not maintained in line with best practice.

Preparation of management accounts for c40 entities, including FCA regulated entity.

Preparation of cost budgets for management companies, including presenting cost analysis to Board of Directors.

Preparation of payroll of c250 employees, including 2 international payrolls.

Management of team of 4.

Management Accountant

Prince Minerals Inc

Management of the daily cash position for the European Group, reporting and presenting this, alongside an 18 month rolling cash forecast and updates on borrowing facilities, on a weekly basis, to both the European and Parent Company Directors.

Provision of vast amounts of data to potential financial providers, liaising with these parties to ensure that the business maximises potential facilities. Design and implementation of templates, in conjunction with the financial providers, to ensure that the monthly reporting requirements are met.

Production of the monthly Consolidation and Board Reports for the European Group. Design and implementation of control improvements to validate the figures contained within these documents.

Managing and reviewing the performance of both the Credit Control and Accounts Payable functions.

Co-ordination of quarterly Audits across a number of locations and countries.

Financial Accountant

The Co-operative Banking Group

Preparation of monthly financial accounts for a number of special purpose entities (SPEs), which are subsidiaries of The Co-operative Banking Group.

Preparation of statutory accounts, including liaison with external auditors.

Substantial time and cost savings delivered through design and implementation of significant process improvements.

Preparation of FCA and Bank of England submissions for Regulated subsidiary companies and The Co-operative Bank.

Ledger control and reconciliation.

Review of investor reports and quarterly payments to noteholders of the SPEs.

Responsible for daily cash management relating to the SPEs.

Production of The Co-operative Bank's Risk Management section for publication in Financial Statements, through sourcing and validating numerical and narrative data and balancing tight, conflicting deadlines.

Production of financial data for inclusion in Stock Exchange Listing Prospectus.

On an adhoc basis, production of both the Management Performance Report which is issued to the Board and consolidation of results for The Co-operative Bank and it's subsidiaries; including intercompany eliminations.

Analysis of project expenditure, comparing to budget and reporting to the Project Board, monthly.

Analysis of interest rates paid to savings accounts and presentation of results to Senior Management.

Payment of supplier invoices and employee expenses.

Reconciliation of bank accounts and accompanying nominals.
