Jag såg nyligen ett case där kandidaten hade träffat bolaget i sista steget. 

Allt klickade - de kom överens på plats och allt kändes klart.

En vecka senare kommer erbjudandet på mail. Lönen var 10 000 lägre än vad som tidigare kommunicerats. 

Provisionsmodellen var otydlig och resten av erbjudandet var fluffigt formulerat.

Bolaget förväntade sig ett snabbt “vi kör” tillbaka på mail.

Det här är en perfekt strategi om du vill tappa bra kandidater.

När du presenterar ett erbjudande handlar det inte om att “skicka över siffrorna”. Det handlar om att sälja in erbjudandet - på ett professionellt och respektfullt sätt.

Det bolaget borde ha gjort:

• Boka ett möte dagen efter sista steget.
• Gå igenom varje punkt i erbjudandet tillsammans. 
• Förklara hur kompensationsmodellen fungerar i detalj - och visa exempel från nuvarande personer i samma roll.
• Ge kandidaten utrymme att ställa frågor.

En otroligt enkel, självklar sak - som ändå många missar.

Ett väl förberett erbjudandemöte signalerar:
• Att du värdesätter kandidaten.
• Att du har koll på dina processer.
• Och att du är en arbetsgivare som går att lita på.
