Giving is my fuel.

I felt like I was locked in a cage, producing excel reports for executives that looked at them for just a few seconds at most. I wasn’t impacting anyone. My future was bound to be filled with useless meetings as the core of my personality, my passion for helping people, wasted away.

My name is Sho Dewan, and I am a career coach, LinkedIn Top Voice: Job Search and Careers, and content creator. I haven’t always been in these shoes though. I kickstarted my career in corporate and had a lot of the same roles that I see my clients with today. Never tell your manager this 😩

Because l’ve seen it happen too many times. You think you are doing them a favor because you are giving them an extended notice but.... it can bite you in the ass.

My rule for 99% of time is to follow your contract and give notice as they see fit (most places say 2 weeks) but if you dont wanna take that risk, I don’t blame you!
