The one word that will radically change your sales this year…….


It’s two letters. 

Starts with an N 

Ends with a O

No. 

Why? 

Because we as a culture are TERRIFIED of letting people down. I mean have you seen insane stories where people put themselves in danger even when they know something is off. I mean I’m sure you’ve seen it. They don’t want to let someone down. 

Or even in real life, you get asked to do something you really don’t want to do, nor do you need to do, and you say yes anyways. 

Well that very human behavior is exemplified at work too. We put ourselves in stressful or compromising situations because we don’t know how to stick up for ourselves. 

And then it comes to sales. 

On the buyer side and the seller side. You force a deal even though you know the client won’t be a good fit. 

You take a meeting where you have zero desire of buying. Then you don’t know how to say no so you just disappear. 

NO. 

Let this year be a year of NO. 

Protect your time. Protect your pipeline. Protect your sanity. 

Buyer. And seller. 

Just say no.

Launched a little thing on beehiiv  

And tbh, I’ve been nervous to share it for the last week. Idk why. 

I write LinkedIn posts. 

I am writing a book. 

About time I write things that are a little more near and dear to my heart.

It will probably: morph, change, grow, pause, continue. 

But regardless, the goal is weekly, less than 5-minute reads, exploring the idea of finding peace and building success on this side of eternity. 

Oh, Aaron, but what about scaling, and follower growth, and building your brand and writing books and blowing up and going viral and making money and thought leadership? 

ya ya ya, those are cool, but have you ever gone to bed full of joy, with a full heart and peace in your chest, knowing that you are in alignment with what you are supposed to be doing in life? No Monday scaries, no rehearsed smile for your spouse and kids, but real, true, genuine, living out your purpose and "call'?

Ringing in the new year with 45,000 college kids taught me one thing….. 


My wife and I attended Passion Conferences in Dallas a couple of weeks ago at the invite of a family friend. 

Globe Life field, where the Texas Rangers Baseball Club plays. 

Sold out. 

45,000 college kids and young adults: singing, dancing, learning, about the Bible and Jesus. 

It was a sight to see. 

And a dozen lessons and thoughts came out of those three days. 

But this one surpasses all of them: 

 
I’m too old to be staying up til midnight 😅

No I’m just kidding 😂

But really, it was this…. 

Passion has been around for 30+ years. Without fail, they have met, celebrated, sang, and taught young adults. And year after year, young adults have showed up, sometimes even at 3am to get good seats. Sold out stadiums year after year. Why? Their mission is clear of serving the next generation.

And the next generation? Gen Z… They aren’t the brainrot generation that your parents and friends are telling you they are. They are hungry for truth. They are passionate about church and community. And they are gathering to chase freedom, joy, and fulfillment. The world hasn’t jaded them. They are relentlessly pursuing freedom in this life. 

And I’m inspired to do the same. At work. At home. In my marriage. With my community. 

2026 is going to be a great year. A year of growth. A year of refinement. A year of chasing my dreams and taking care of my fam.
