• Built the Production Support team and model from two people to eight people across four primary Business Systems applications (Salesforce/CPQ, NetSuite, SAP, and Zendesk) as well as secondary applications (Totango, Blackline, UKG, OneStream, AuditBoard, FinancialForce, among others).
• Built a QA function from non-existent to a team of five, remaining cognizant of best practices along the way - i.e. regression testing for software releases, defect tracking, assisting with user-acceptance testing, etc.

• Provided secondary leadership to the Development and Integrations teams to ensure architecture, development, and data quality/integration were all aligned and suitable for end-user purposes

In this position, I led a team of IT leaders responsible for monitoring various applications, including Agile, BI, Middleware, Salesforce, ServiceMax, and Oracle. This team included 83 third-party offshore technicians. I spearheaded the financial management of Application Management Services, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Additionally, I engaged with stakeholders through multiple channels to understand their needs, prioritize tasks, and develop strategies to maximize the IT team's contributions.

Key Accomplishments:
• Ensured financial prudence and compliance with contractual agreements by overseeing AMS projects totaling $618K.
• Achieved $86K in monthly IT cost savings during the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing strategic measures.
• Increased SLA compliance rate from 62% to a flawless 100% through strategic initiatives.
• Reduced HelpDesk ticket backlog from 409 to 82 and decreased the average ticket age from 47 days to just 11 days.
• Developed a robust Hypercare strategy for the post-go-live phase of the Oracle Cloud migration project.

Fresenius Medical Care North America

In this role, I developed and maintained ITSM policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. I managed the IT service desk operations, covering incident, problem, and change management to ensure timely resolution of IT issues and service request fulfillment. I also collaborated with stakeholders to establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and metrics for assessing IT service delivery.

Key accomplishments:
• Facilitated continuous service improvement initiatives by acting as the liaison between IT and other departments.
• Achieved a significant 61% reduction in incoming ticket volume by implementing Root Cause Analysis best practices.
• Enhanced customer service processes by reducing hold times from over seven minutes to under 90 seconds.

In this role, I managed the comprehensive system migration to the Blume Global Information Technology platform. I rewrote the SQL code of the acquired company to align with Blume Global's table structures, field names, and operational procedures. I crafted and refined Ad Hoc Views, reports, and dashboards, ensuring seamless data accessibility for end-users and facilitating informed decision-making. I conducted rigorous testing of reports to maintain accuracy and data integrity.

Key accomplishments: 
• Reduced inventory EDI error rates by 88% in the Southwest region of the United States through targeted process improvements.
• Leveraged advanced SQL querying techniques and Excel proficiency to perform in-depth trend analysis on large datasets.
• Mitigated inventory Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) errors by 88% in the Southwest region of the United States.

• Performed trend analysis on large data-sets via SQL and Excel in order to recommend systems enhancements and process improvements
• Made sure that EDI information was transmitting accurately

In 2019, I came within minutes of losing my life.

Even after more than a decade in technology, I avoided AI because I thought it was too complex to grasp without being a coder or data scientist.

So, I decided to stop running and start learning.

On the one hand, I dove deep, but on the other hand, I kept it simple.

It’s easy to celebrate “how fast” we deliver.

But speed without direction burns out teams and budgets.

The best leaders don't measure success by how much got done.

The best leaders measure success by how much impact and value it created.

Does velocity matter? Yes.

But value is what earns trust from the business.

Every few years, a new methodology gets packaged as the next silver bullet.

For a while it was Agile. Then CI/CD. Now it’s DevSecOps.

But here’s the truth most organizations eventually learn the hard way:

You can’t buy DevSecOps. You have to become DevSecOps.

I’ve seen companies waste a lot of time and resources on this... only to end up with the same bottlenecks, the same vulnerabilities, and the same finger-pointing.

Because the real problem has nothing to do with tools.

The real problem is process and culture.

For DevSecOps to work you've got to:
- Shift left so fixes take less time and cost less money
- Bring security in early, continuously, and collaboratively
- Make sure engineers understand risk, security teams understand delivery, and operations teams get the knowledge transfer they need to keep the lights on
- Change the conversation from “How do we make this secure?” to “How do we deliver securely?”

These shifts only happens when:

- Security engineers sit at the same table as developers and ops from day one
- Developers own part of the security posture, not as an afterthought, but as a design principle
- Leadership measures success by reduced friction and faster recovery, not just by vulnerability counts
- Postmortems include security learning, not just uptime and delivery metrics.

DevSecOps done right doesn’t slow teams down.

DevSecOps done right creates confidence, and lets you move faster because you’re secure, not despite it.

The companies that figure this out stop treating security as compliance and start treating it as competitive advantage.
