Hi, I’m John.

I'm a Freelance Creative Producer working primarily in advertising, communications and fashion both for Motion and Stills Production.

My role is supporting production companies, agencies (either networks or independents) and freelance Directors or Photographers bring projects to life. 

That's either because you've a project that requires more experience of what your in-house team is ready for, or because the current workload is too much and you need external support.

My motto:
Great production makes the client, agency and crew feel confident ahead of the shoot day, calm throughout and excited after.

On the side, I create content online aiming to help junior people learn, mid level people reflect, and senior people resonate. 

Over time I've gathered a small audience which is beautiful to see as I knew no one when I first moved to the UK from Greece with zero experience but a fire in my soul to make this beautiful job my career.

A Video Production Company in London, we produce social-first content for Fashion & Lifestyle brands.

Director

I supported production companies on a freelance basis, wearing multiple hats as a Camera Operator, Camera Assistant, Production Assistant and Video Editor. My projects spanned from corporate and PR events to talking head interviews and commercial shoots.

Incredibly, during this period, I had the privilege of being mentored by Dominic Sutherland, a former BBC producer who now heads NextShoot, a leading production company in London. Under his guidance, I gained insights into the business side of the industry, and he even invited me to work on one of his commercial shoots for a huge global brand, Bloomberg.

In addition to the commercial work, I occasionally contributed to short films and independent features within the Camera/Electrical department, collaborating with production companies like Jagged Edge Productions.

Eastgate

I spent my gap year at Eastgate, starting off as a media intern. It was a game-changer learning from my head of department, who had an impressive background in a creative agency – crafting campaigns for big names like Google. My time at Eastgate fine-tuned my storytelling skills and set me on the path to building up my technical know-how. We filmed with cameras including the Sony FS5 & edited using Adobe's Creative Cloud suite.

After proving I could keep things organised, work efficiently, and tell a good story, they continued to hire me after my internship as a freelance video editor. Projects ranged from podcasts, and social media content to campaign videos.
