I always dreamed of being a television programmer. It never happened, so instead I live out my dream programming LinkedIn like my own TV channel. 

Over the past 5 years, I’ve logged 10,000+ hours on this platform. I’ve built a following of 100,000+ by programming my LinkedIn like my own TV channel. My content isn’t random. It’s strategic. Story-driven. Designed to drive real outcomes.

-Raised $7M in funding for a Mark Cuban venture-backed startup

My background spans banking (JPMorganChase), global advisory (PwC, KPMG), and a decade as CFO/COO in the luxury design world, managing 50+ people and overseeing $40M+ in ARR and $1B+ in real estate projects for icons like President Obama, George Clooney, and Cindy Crawford.

Then Monica Khan saved my life.

“Compute is becoming the choke point” (Strategy Stack – Jan 25, 2026)

This week wasn’t about a flashy new AI breakthrough — it was about who can scale AI without stalling. The big signal: AI is starting to look less like software and more like infrastructure, where winners are determined by power, compute capacity, and deployment speed.

1) OpenAI + Cerebras: Speed and inference capacity as a moat
OpenAI reportedly signed a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar deal with Cerebras to add major compute capacity through 2028, focused on real-time inference (fast responses at scale), not training bigger models.

The strategic shift: latency + throughput now matter as much as model intelligence, and OpenAI is also reducing dependence on traditional GPU supply chains.

Key idea: The advantage isn’t just “smartest model” — it’s fastest system under real-world demand.

2) Microsoft: Multi-model becomes default inside the org

Microsoft is encouraging employees to use Anthropic’s Claude Code alongside GitHub Copilot — even beyond engineering teams. That signals a major operating change: model choice is becoming a performance lever, based on cost, reliability, and speed per task.

Key idea: The competitive edge is shifting from “one best model” to orchestration — routing the right model to the right workflow quickly.

3) Davos (WEF 2026): AI is now about constraints, not hype

Davos discussions centered less on “AI possibilities” and more on limits and risks:

1. Energy is becoming national security (AI scaling depends on power access and grid reliability)
2. Human capability erosion concerns are rising (AI may reduce resilience by removing too much friction too early)
3. Workforce disruption is accelerating (IMF cited ~40% of jobs impacted globally, ~60% in advanced economies)
4. Geopolitics and fragmentation are reshaping AI deployment (cloud = sovereignty, chips = foreign policy)

Key idea: AI leaders need governance, resilience, and workforce redesign — not just adoption.

4) Jensen Huang’s “Five-Layer AI Stack”

NVIDIA’s CEO framed AI as the largest infrastructure buildout in history, with five required layers:

Energy
Chips / compute
Data centers
Models
Applications (where value appears)

Key idea: Models don’t win alone — they only matter if the underlying infrastructure can support scale.
Main takeaway

In 2026, winning in AI isn’t about being the smartest.

It’s about being the best at deploying under constraint — power, compute, cost, latency, security, and supply chain limitations.
Bottom line: AI strategy is becoming infrastructure strategy, and “model choice + operating speed” is the new advantage.
