I co-founded Zero Procure back in 2020 because I knew procurement could be done differently.

I’d already been working in the hospitality industry for…well my whole life. But I’d previously run a cleaning business for 11 years before I sold it in 2017.

And there’s something I noticed about procurement:

- You either did it yourself…taking time away from your core job
- You could hire someone to do it…but they only have so much buying power
- You could hire a procurement company…that will charge you a percentage of your savings
- Or you could go with option 4…paying just the supplier for your goods, but also getting the best prices

Here’s our cue to come in.

Zero Procure works the exact same as any other procurement company…but you, the customer, don’t pay a thing!

Honestly, it’s as simple as that (we get our cuts from the supplier, not you).

Management of projects and sales activities/initiatives to ensure that sales best practice is consistently and rigorously applied across Europe.

Examples include:
Key communication interface to senior stakeholders from Ownership groups and managed portfolio as well as sales liaison across all non-sales departments within IHG  

Management of the National & Area Sales Forum process across UK&I and Continental Europe 

Delivery of two annual three day sales conferences, one in the UK and one in Continental Europe, each attended by over 300 sales professionals, stakeholders and board members from across our European and UK&I estate.

Manage & deliver the European Sales on boarding process; training over 150 sales professionals new to IHG each year.

Produce, analyze and refine financial reporting for key city projects to increase business from selected focus accounts

Recruit and control the Hosted Buyer Programme for the “Great Hotels Meeting Forum” which took place five times a year in Paris, London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, New York, achieving a nett profit for the company of £1 million

Advise member hotels on sales strategies and enquiry handling procedures for MICE clients

Production and presentation of sales reports for internal use and for individual member hotels

Arranging and attending local and international sales blitzes and key client FAM trips for member hotels.
