Joseph Robert is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Robert Ventures, with over 20 years of asset management experience. Over the past 10 years, Joe was CEO of Silver Bay Capital, a real estate asset management company that invested in over 200 residential and commercial properties, and over 165mm AUM of residential mortgages, creating double-digit predictable returns. 
Joe and his partner resided in Puerto Rico for business tax advantages under Act 22. During this period, he connected with numerous professionals within the blockchain community and industry. These relationships prompted him to start investing in cryptocurrencies in 2017.  Since then, Joe has invested in seed rounds with equity and tokens, along with a portfolio of bitcoin, ethereum and other top cryptocurrencies. 
Through these investments, Joe has developed a reliable strategy and the requisite discipline to manage and profit from even the most volatile tokens. Joe and his team utilize qualitative research, data analytics, and on-chain data for optimal portfolio management. Conti Mortgage was one of the nation's largest Wholesale lenders and Conti Direct was the new retail channel startup. From the ground up we started the retail business in two locations in the U.S., PA and AZ. The business got to $20 million per month of retail mortgage business before the nationwide subprime issues on securitizations started to arise.

I ran national Sales for a branch network that was doing APX $20 million per month in volume and took this to APX. $100 million per month in three years. This was done thru sales training, positive motivation, branch openings and use of production dynamics.
In this EVP of Sales role, I also managed Training and Wholesale Lending for the company.

Household Finance Corporation

HFC was a consumer finance company that provided loans to consumers nationwide thru a 1500+ branch network.  I started as a Branch Representative in Queens NY and progressed thru the sales ranks with management positions as Branch Manager,District Manager and then Director of Sales.  The branch network was sales and operations all under one roof so you learned all aspects of the business.  HFC then went to the branches being 100% sales focused and all collections, underwriting and servicing being done in a central location in 1989. I then got promoted to VP of centralized RE underwriting in Virginia Beach VA and formed this new unit as a start up. After 1.5 years of running centralized RE underwriting I then ran centralized RE collections also in Virginia Beach VA.. 
I then returned to the sales side of the business as Director of Sales having learned the valuable operational background on the daily and weekly key drivers to focus on and formed " Production Dynamics".  This was a tool used to drive the sales business and achieve operational targets.

Senior Vice President Operations

With 45 years in the financial services industry and having learned the business from the ground up it is a great business to be in. Starting in 1975 at Household Finance Corporation (HFC) in NY as a Branch Representative I advanced in the corporation thru sales positions as Branch Manager, District Manager, Division Manager supervising all aspects of driving a sales force.  I then learned the operations side of the business with management positions as head of mortgage underwriting, processing and centralized collections.  The operations experience was critical in learning all aspects of a successful business and how it all worked together. 
After 20 years at HFC/HSBC, I joined Banc One Financial Services in Indianapolis and ran national sales for the mortgage business. This was a fairly new operation that with wonderful peers we grew into a national mortgage leader.
I then continued in sales executive roles with companies such as Conti Mortgage, Wilmington Finance, Aegis Mortgage etc during the sub prime mortgage years. 
I have always believed in treating all whom I worked with, fairly and honestly and to keep the business professional and fun. Highly motivated people will work more productively when then know they are  valued and will be treated fairly in good and bad times. 
I joined National Loan Exchange in 2007 and now sell for clients, many of the products I learned how to originate over the years in finance. Thanks to all that I have been blessed to work alongside these many years. PB
