You Feed Them Missional Food Pantry, Inc

You Feed Them Missional Food Pantry, Inc (YFT MFP) exists to help address societal food, economic, and social insecurities by serving physical, spiritual, and community resource “food”. We commit to responding to the needs of the community through food and toiletries, evangelism, prayer, education, information, and community resource sharing initiatives. 

We have five (5) outreach initiatives: 

1) Missional Food Pantry serve physical and spiritual food to those that hunger and thirst physically and spiritually. We also share available Community Resources if needed.

2) Community Resource Day is our Back at School outreach giving school supplies, book bags, and if funded a new pair of shoes to pre-registered children. It is also a day of Service Providers being present to share opportunities and resources. 

3) Youth Savings Initiative address our mission to educate and partner with registered children ages 0-17 open and maintain their own Savings Accounts with monthly deposits. Our mission is to help alleviate the need for these future adults having the need for food pantries and/or social services assistance. 

4) Christmas Overflow Initiative addresses emergency requests of parents that miss early deadline registrations from most other organizations or have other restrictive requirements in place that excludes them. 

5) Blessings Bag Initiative serve the Homeless Community. Although some of our Homeless neighbors may visit a non-restrictive food pantry, many do not yet they especially hunger and are in need of resources. Blessings Bags, drawstring sacs for men and large sized purses for women, are filled with snacks, water, toiletries, weather-related necessities, informative & spiritual reading material, a $5 gift card,  and more. These are distributed out into homeless communities direct to them through various methods and partnerships.

I created and implemented a Business/Ministry Plan to synergetic-ally merge 4 existing multimedia ministries and created 6 new ministries under one umbrella called the Marketing and Communications Group (MarCom Group) eventually the pastoral servant Leader of over 30 active church volunteers serving in my varying MarCom group ministries. 
The MarCom Group consisted of: Audio, Broadcasting (retired), Duplication, Facebook, Lighting, Media Center (Bookstore), Photography, Presentation, Publishing, Videography, Website Ministries and remain vital ministries of the church today. I Managed on average the collective groups 6-figure budget, capital and resources. I Collaborated and reorganized the Media Center allowing it to be the sole consistent revenue-generator for the church.  

I served as the Primary Project Manager for Audio and MultiMedia Systems design and implementation of SBCC's new Sanctuary that included HVAC, three-screen projections, Sound design and amplification, Theatrical Lighting, etc. Developed a long-term working partnership with an outside Systems Installations Company, CCI Solutions, to assist in the design and install of Audio systems, speakers, theatrical lighting, mics, projection equipment, and so forth.  

I was extremely blessed to have been shepherded, mentored, lead, coached by and serve in partnership with the phenomenal Founding/Senior Pastor now Emeritus, Dr. Stanley B. Long and on his Ministerial Leadership Board. (http://stanley-long.com/) 

I also revived, created, and served as the Servant Leader of the Infant Recognition & Cradle Rock-n-Roll Ministry for over 8 years.

I created and lead the Christ Care Small Group Ministry "Living Through Chronic Pain" for just over two (2) years for those living with chronic physical, emotional and spiritual pain. My lesson plan was based on a journey through the Bible's story of Job. 
The Christ Care Ministry, a ministry of the Stephen's Ministry, are small groups that help fulfill three needs we all have in our lives: the needs to belong, to grow, and to receive care. ChristCare Groups provide that kind of koinonia - a New Testament word that describes the close relationships and sharing early Christians enjoyed (see, for example, Acts 2:42-47).

I am the visionary Founder and Board President of “You Feed Them Missional Food Pantry, Inc.”. Serving and addressing matters beyond just the need of physical food, our award winning community initiatives impact and help the process of transforming lives through the sharing of physical, spiritual, material, and financial resources. In addition to cultivating relationships and partners to distribute food, we also focus on the needs of children. With support from donors, we have blessed thousand’s of children with bookbags, school supplies, new books, new shoes, bikes, free haircuts, Christmas gifts, and more; in addition, our Youth Savings Initiative focus on helping to reduce the need for future Food Pantry or social services needs by incentivizing new savings accounts for registered children encouraging self investment with monthly deposits into their own account. 

I am a community Outreach Advocate. Visionary. Recipient of numerous community awards & recognitions. A planter of Ministries, a Mentor, Teacher, Grant Writer to help advance our initiatives, Community servant leader, Writer. A licensed Minister. Preacher. 

Also, I actively serve as a Metro Ministries, Inc Board of Director. I serve on the Fundraising Team and Grants Team helping to fund many community programs throughout our UMC Conference six Counties of the Central District. I also serve on the Speakers Bureau.
