Here are 4 simple steps to building quit-proof commitments.

I used to get overwhelmed setting goals.
Especially around my health.

I’d say I’d start tomorrow.
Or next week.
Or when things slowed down.

Why?

Because my mind was stuck on what I hadn’t done.
Past failures.
Old stories.
Big expectations.

I’d overthink.
Go down a rabbit hole.
Stay busy.
Finish nothing.

Here’s what I’ve learned.

Change doesn’t require intensity.
It requires clarity.

If you want to achieve something meaningful:

1. Start fresh.
No judgment. No replaying old mistakes.

2. Connect the goal to your WHY.
If it doesn’t matter deeply, it won’t last.

3. Decide you will do what it takes.
Ethically. Steadily. Outside your comfort zone.

4. Check your excitement level.
If it’s not at least an 8 out of 10, reset it.
Small enough to win. Big enough to care.

Commitments stick when they are aligned, not forced.

That’s how confidence grows.
That’s how trust returns.
