Singapore Sailing Federation

As CEO of the Singapore Sailing Federation, Lim Han Ee was instrumental in driving strategic growth and innovation within the organization. Key milestones achieved during his tenure include:

Digital Transformation & Sustainability:
1. Launched SSF's digital transformation roadmap, incorporating HRMS and e-Procurement/Budgeting systems to enhance workplace productivity and establish a viable business model.
2. Achieved a remarkable 116% growth in social media followers from 2018 to 2019.
3. Pioneered the first sailing chatbot in the world, "Sammy the Chatbot."
4. Established Singapore's inaugural Sustainability Strategy for a National Sport Association (NSA) in line with UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Youth Empowerment & Community Outreach:
1. Secured additional grants from the National Youth Council and SportCares to enroll over 100 youths from social service organizations in the Future Ready Sailor (FRS) program, a STEM-based initiative fostering resilience, social, and environmental awareness.
2. Increased "Learn to Sail" program participation by 209%.
3. Expanded Keelboat participation in official regattas by 118%.
4. Collaborated with ActiveSG to introduce sailing in public swimming pools across the country, making the sport more accessible to the broader community.

High Performance & Support:
1. Achieved 5 Gold Medals at Major Games and 2 World Champions.
2. Positioned 5 sailors in the Top 20 at the 4.7 Laser World Championships in 2018.
3. Enhanced the Integrated Support Team by securing additional funding for key roles, including Performance Director, dedicated Sport Physio, Strength and Conditioning, and Analytics Positions.

International Coaching Federation

As Vice-President (Singapore Chapter) of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) from 2013 to 2015, Han Ee led the Coaches for Community (C4C) portfolio to provide pro-bono coaching for various community initiatives. 

Under Han Ee's leadership, C4C received global recognition when it won the ICF Global “I Care For” Award, presented by ICF Global President Dave Wondra and CEO Magda Mook at the Global Leaders Forum in Atlanta, Georgia. This prestigious award was a testament to the success of C4C, which saw 90 coaches contribute over 700 hours of pro-bono coaching to 228 coachees across five different initiatives. 

Han Ee played a key leadership role in this achievement, supported by two other dedicated Exco members. Thanks to the collective efforts, ICF Singapore was firmly established as a leader in the global coaching community.

Vice-President (SG Chapter)

-Provided mental conditioning services to renown Bollettieri Tennis Academy, Leadbetter Golf Academy & other elite sport academies at IMG campus. 
-Provided vision training to athletes, to improve hand-eye coordination, visual memory & eye movement control. 
-Supported curriculum design efforts to produce & implement inaugural leadership for performance modules at IMG.
-Provided translation services to chinese-speaking clients

From the high-pressure arenas of sports and the military to the dynamic challenges of leadership and business, my journey has been a quest to understand and cultivate environments that enable leaders, teams, and organizations to thrive—without the casualties of burnout or compromise. It’s about striking a dynamic balance: achieving results without sacrificing well-being, and setting high demands while empowering people to deliver sustainably.

At the core of my approach is underpinned by three underlying qualities:
•	Mindfulness: Staying present, aware and purposeful amidst complexity and change.
•	Mastery: Cultivating excellence in craft and self, with an emphasis on continuous growth.
•	Mobility: Adapting & transforming with resilience and clarity in VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) environments.

With over 20 years of experience in sport and performance psychology, executive coaching, and high-performance leadership, I blend the best of East and West philosophies to unlock human potential. This perspective informs my work as the founder of Emerge Performance, where I’ve been nurturing mindful leaders, resilient employees, and agile teams since 2010.

Building vibrant communities of practice has been a constant passion—whether through initiatives like the Coaches for Community (C4C) project at ICF Singapore, co-leading the Coaching Special Interest Group (SIG) at IAL, or developing coaches at The Coaching Village.

My vision is to help individuals and organizations reach their full potential at work—delivering high performance in ways that are both meaningful and sustainable. For me, this is about preparing for the future with purpose: not just meeting demands but creating workplaces where everyone can be at their best.

On a personal note, cycling, bike tours, and gravel rides are more than hobbies—they’re metaphors for growth. Exploring new territories, stretching boundaries reflect the journey of transformation I champion for myself and my clients. I call this journey Deep Cycle, blending my passion for cycling with my mission to help others achieve their full potential. My vision is to be literally a Coach on Wheels, guiding transformation on and off the bike.
