Field Service Operations Manager 								Dec 2023 – May 2024
£6M P&L responsibility for all service activity and direct spare parts sales into the UK customer base.
Focused on driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and ensuring top-tier service performance across a large, geographically dispersed team.
Ensure profitability by rigorously reviewing operational efficiencies to eliminate waste and deploy effective customer solutions.
Liaison with other relevant departments at all levels to productively share information and ensure the needs and plans for SSG after sales are taken into account across the organisation.

Key Achievements
Operationalised a UK wide regionalisation strategy to improve customer success and provide focused support to the field service and sales teams.
Created a new report to forecast work demand across all streams of the after sales service business. This has given new insights into resource strategies, spares holdings and customer support initiatives.
Created a new training strategy that enhanced the field engineer skill sets by over 100%, thus enabling an improved flexible field team with an increased FTFR.

Field Service Operations Manager

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the business whilst working on the below 3 projects:
•	Deliver a digital CRM platform into the business that would give visibility on all client projects including P&L for each project.
•	Investigate and provide support for both H&S policies and the Quality policy.
•	Strategy for growth for the containment arm of the business.

Key Achievements
•	Implementation of the Salesforce digital CRM platform across all business functions with integration programmes for external finance and time management platforms.
•	Development of Salesforce to meet the business requirements for all opportunities, focused dashboards and financial accuracy.
•	Instigated governance activities for risk assessments, method statements, SOP’s, and ISO required audits.
•	Recruitment and implementation of field service personnel and back-office support functions to provide a UK wide containment and fumigation fast response team.
•	Strategy for business development into laboratory containment and fumigation within the UK government/NHS sector. This increased the number of service contracts held from 30 to 74.
•	Soft Landings project methodology delivered across multiple projects engaging design, development and construction teams to handover successfully to end users with effective project evaluation.

Senior executive responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and performance of the business. Reporting directly into the business owners across all functions and work streams.	
			   	
Key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT); managing a team of 4 departmental managers.
Responsible for compliance to ISO 9001/13485 by designing out risk across the business processes.
Financial governance to increase profit, identify risks and achieve EBITDA targets.
Business development in tandem with the sales team to identify new revenue streams.

Key Achievements
•	Successful logistics contract created to provide multiple daily drops across the UK for medical support products into patients homes, often under 8 hour SLA conditions.
Project management of hard and soft FM relocation of 3 separate manufacturing sites into 1 centralised premises.
Created successful workshop and field service teams to meet all client expectations, ensuring that equipment uptime and availability are maximised through fast responses and planned maintenance.
IQ OQ PQ passed successfully for the company’s main production contract after moving to a new facility. On site and post PQ audits carried out by the OEM.
Minimised disruption to operations, whilst safeguarding service quality and availability and leading change control for all business activities.

Client facing Technical Project Operations Manager providing technical and business support into various organisations through contracts of varying timeframes and responsibilities.

Sep 20 - LEEC Workstream planner for East of England NHS to create and implement the vaccination program for COVID 19. Planning logistics, Estates (hard and soft FM), Equipment needs and consumable flows for the NHS across the East of England. NHS mass vaccination program connector across 6 regional trusts to achieve ministerial goals whilst refining large data sets to devise operational strategies and communicating these to NHS Trust directors, Local Authorities and Local Resilience Forums (including senior military liaison officers). The program constantly evolved, sometimes daily, and a highly flexible approach was maintained to ensure successful vaccination of 6 million people against COVID-19.
Apr 20 - Jul 20 3-month NPI project lead, activating the technical risk analysis for the project hardware for Secure Meters.
Sep 19 - Mar 20 6-month technical project management identifying and implementing a software update program to an installed fleet of radar products UK wide for TGS.
Key Achievements
•	Designed and implemented the first COVID 19 mass vaccination centre in Robertson House, Stevenage, during the pandemic in 2020/21
•	Supported the identification and siting of 55 GP led vaccination centres that facilitated the roll out of the COVID 19 vaccination programme.

Senior Business Consultant

MECALAC CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT UK LIMITED

Responsible for all service support functions and warranty support to the UK wide dealer network. Managed the technical training facilities to provide a comprehensive support package to the company sales team, UK dealer market and worldwide dealer network.
Created all process and SOP documents for service, parts procurement, and sales order teams for ISO 9001 audit inclusion, ensuring SAP working practices were refined and sustained.

Championed the National Contracts Department for the Stannah family, coaching the team to improve customer satisfaction through a 17% increase in KPI & SLA completion. 
Conducted data reviews from multiple sources both internal and external to provide analytical reports to the Board of directors, connecting performance with expectation across thousands of products.

I led the 3 UK service teams and carried out a major change management program that enabled the CEO’s vision of customer satisfaction to be realised. The restructured operation increased revenue by 15% and cost savings of £1M were made through a spares rationalisation strategy that I implemented with the logistics and finance directors.

I created a new UK wide service operation for the European Service VP which enabled access into the UK NHS and private provider mammography market. This team generated revenue of £3M in service contracts, profit margin of 65% and won a 5-year tender into the NHS.
