Executive Assistant to Founder/CEO

I played a key role in starting the company, overseeing day-to-day operations and creating the processes that are likely still in use today. I worked closely with the city to ensure code compliance and handled general property management duties such as showing properties and entering into leases with commercial and residential tenants. Additionally, I managed leases and monitored properties to ensure tenant compliance. To keep costs down, I successfully negotiated with vendors to secure the best rates on materials used to fix up the properties.

From start to finish, I was involved in every aspect of the property management process. This included everything from scouting potential properties and communicating with sellers to drafting sales agreements and deeds. I also worked closely with maintenance crews and subcontractors to bring the properties up to acceptable living standards, and then found suitable tenants.

As Property Manager, I was heavily involved in the community, serving as the secretary for the Sharon Area Landlord Association and participating in numerous community service projects. One of my most significant contributions was working with the community corrections center to recruit and supervise large groups for the City of Sharon community clean-ups.
