A client I am working with was stuck at 26k followers for more than a year.
Nothing was moving.

In the next 3 months, we moved the account to 31k.
→ post views went from 2k to 100k+
→ comments grew from 10 to thousands,
→ verified leads increased from 29 to 169, then 199, and now 400+.

No magic spells. Just a simple system.
Here’s the 3-stage roadmap I use to grow accounts from 0 to 150k+

1. Fix the content first

No matter how much money you put into boosts,
if your content isn’t resonating with your target audience,
it won’t work either way. 

2. Give people a reason to engage

Growth happens when you get people to INTERACT!
Ask questions. Share relatable experiences. 
Talk about real problems your audience faces.

3. Turn attention into leads

Views are great, but they’re better when they make you $$$.
Sell the right way!
Start with the benefit [end result] → why they need it → how they can have it!

This is how we went from 29 leads to 400+ in three months.

You don’t need to depend entirely on boosts,
You just need content people actually care about.

For TWO years, one of my clients was stuck at 67k followers.

The content looked great.
Clean visuals. Polished posts. Everything aesthetic.

But growth had completely stalled.

So we changed one thing.

We stopped chasing perfect aesthetics and started focusing on raw, emotional storytelling.

Instead of overly polished content:
→ we shared real experiences
→ honest thoughts
→ stories people could actually relate to

In the next 8 months, the account grew from 67k to 125k.
Almost double.

The biggest lesson?

People don’t connect with perfect content.
They connect with real stories.

Perfect visuals might catch attention for a second.

But emotions, honesty, and relatability are what make people stop, read, comment, and share.

That’s usually what breaks long growth plateaus.

Most people think likes = success on LinkedIn.
But that’s not always true.

I’ve seen posts get thousands of likes
and bring zero business.

And I’ve seen simple posts with 30–40 likes bring real leads.

The difference?

One is written for attention.
The other is written for trust.

Viral posts often have:

→ motivational lines

→ catchy hooks

→ advice everyone agrees with

People like them and move on.

But posts that bring leads usually share:

→ real experiences

→ specific insights

→ honest lessons from work

Because when people understand how you think, they start seeing you as someone they can work with.

Likes feel good.
Trust builds business.

Most people think LinkedIn growth comes from posting every day.
Not true.
I’ve grown 150k+ accounts by posting three strong posts a week.

It will almost always beat seven days of filler content.

One thoughtful post with real insight builds authority.
Filler posts just keep the feed busy.

When content actually helps people:
→ they save it
→ share it
→ and remember you through it.

That’s what drives real reach.

People don’t follow you because you post daily.
They follow you because what you share is worth reading.

Focus on value, not volume.

Most brands are still focused on the public feed.

More posts.
More reach.
More impressions.

But in 2026, the real conversations are happening somewhere else.

In DMs. In group chats. In smaller, private spaces.

People are moving away from big, noisy feeds and into what many call digital campfires. 
Smaller communities where conversations feel more personal and real.

Think about it.

When something interesting shows up online, most people don’t comment publicly.
They send it to a friend, drop it in a group chat, or talk about it in DMs.

That’s where the real engagement happens.

We’ve seen brands go viral just by leaning into this idea.

Simple things like personalised replies, 
voice notes, or DM conversations can turn a casual follower into someone who actually feels connected to the brand.

Because when a brand responds like a real person, people notice.

If you’re only posting on the public feed, you might be shouting into a crowd that has already walked away to a smaller, quieter room.

The brands that win now are the ones willing to step into that room and have real conversations.

PS: Do you think most brand engagement now happens in the feed, or in private spaces like DMs and group chats?

People think social media is “just posting online.”

Honestly? That’s one of the biggest misconceptions I hear.

A typical day for me usually kicks off after noon, 
international clients don’t exactly run on my timezone. 
From there, it’s a mix of chaos and creativity. 

Some days I’m scrolling through what’s actually working right now.

Other days, I’m scribbling down ideas for content that feels real and connects with people.

And a lot of my time is spent in the trenches, 
Checking which posts are performing, 
Replying to comments, answering DMs, and building relationships that actually matter.

It’s messy. It’s unpredictable. It’s exhausting at times.

But here’s the thing, this mess is also what drives growth, leads, and results that matter.

Social media isn’t about showing up just to post something.
It’s about showing up with purpose, day in and day out.

Not every post will go viral.
Not every idea will perform the way you hoped.

But the effort you put in, the creativity, the consistency, the late edits, all add up.

People keep asking me, “Can AI really run social media for you?”

Here’s what I’ve learned after 7 years of scaling 150k+ accounts- AI is brilliant, but it can’t do the part that actually matters.

AI can handle the boring stuff like scheduling posts, 
crunching numbers, suggesting hashtags, and even drafting captions.
It’s fast, efficient, and saves you hours.

But humans?

Humans bring the soul. 
We notice the tiny things:
→ what makes someone stop scrolling, 
→ what sparks a conversation, 
→ what actually builds trust.

Humans pivot when something lands, 
we make real connections, 
and we put personality into every piece of content.

I feel the trick is this- 
let AI take care of the repetitive stuff so you can focus on the human side, the magic that actually turns scrollers into followers, and followers into leads.

It’s not about choosing AI or humans. 
It’s about combining them, and when you do, that’s when social media starts building for real.

The most stressful moment for LinkedIn creators:

When you finally post…

and realise there’s a typo in the first line.

Now the real decision begins:

Edit it?
Or pretend it’s not there? 👀

Your “perfect” content might be the reason you’re not growing.
Sounds strange, but it happens a lot.

When we try to make every post perfect, we usually:

→ overthink the wordings

→ polish every line

→ remove anything that feels too personal


And the result?

The post looks good.
But it feels empty.

Because people don’t connect with perfection.
They connect with real thoughts, small mistakes, honest stories, and imperfect moments.

Ironically, the posts we hesitate to share
are often the ones people relate to the most.

Perfect content impresses.
Imperfect content connects.

And people trust humans more than perfect marketing.

You don’t always need better ads.
Sometimes you just need to show the people and the process behind the work.

Because transparency builds what ads can’t.
