The Veteran Engagement Manager handles client engagement case management within their state. This role includes in-person engagement at military installations nationwide to recruit transitioning servicemembers to Indiana. The manager ensures a smooth flow of veteran cases through the INvets pipeline.

**ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION:**

*Strategic Administration:*

- Collaborate with the VP of Engagement to manage the Ambassadors program.
- Support partnership and programmatic discussions with military installations.
- Work with the executive team on outreach projects, programs, and marketing.
- Report on goals, priorities, and objectives to the VP of Engagement.
- Provide additional support to the VP of Engagement as needed.

*Veteran Engagement Manager Function:*

- Build and maintain a network to identify veterans interested in relocating to Indiana.
- Communicate with veterans to understand their career intentions.
- Manage the transition lifecycle of assigned clients using Salesforce.
- Promote the benefits of living in Indiana and INvets' services based on veterans' needs.
- Execute outreach activities for INvets.
- Identify and analyze process improvements.
- Develop relationships with base and corporate partners.
- Use data from job postings and talent profiles to understand the labor market in Southern Indiana.

OVERVIEW: 
SSVF Health Care Navigators provide services that include connecting Veterans to VA health care
benefits or community health care services where Veterans are not eligible for VA care. SSVF health
care navigators provide case management and care coordination, health education, interdisciplinary
collaboration, coordination, and consultation, and administrative duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Acts as a liaison between the SSVF grantee and the VA or community medical clinic and works
with a population of Veterans with complex needs who require assistance accessing health care
services or adhering to health care plans.
• Conducts assessments of the Veteran in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team,
the Veteran, family members, and significant others.
• Serves as a resource for education and support for Veterans and families and helps identify
appropriate and credible resources and support tailored to the needs and desires of the
Veteran.
• Provides comprehensive case management and care coordination across episodes of care—the
incumbent acts as a health coach by proactively supporting the Veteran to optimize treatment
interventions and outcomes.
• Identifies the Veteran and family's health education needs and provides education services and
materials that match the health literacy level of the Veteran. 
• Provides ongoing education support as needed to the Veteran and family member.
• Ensures and links Veterans and caregivers to supportive services, which include, but are not limited housing, financial benefits, transportation.
• Identifies systemic barriers within the organization, communicates with organizational leadership and works collaboratively to find viable solutions.
• Assists in developing policy, procedures, and practice guidelines related to the specialty program using knowledge gained from research or best practices.

Provide the new club with an overview history of TI, the organization structure, and the relationship between the organization and the club member
Explain the entire educational system (review the Competent Communication and Effective Leadership manuals).
Acquaint the members with all of the educational programs and activities TI has to offer (i.e. Speechcraft, Youth Leadership, the Success/Communication and Success/Leadership programs, speech contests, debates, etc.

Club Mentor

A club coach is an experienced Toastmaster who coaches a club to rebuild membership and restore quality to the club environment. The goal of a coach is to help the club achieve recognition in the Distinguished Club Program, which is accomplished by:

Building rapport with club leaders and members
Instilling enthusiasm, comradery and structure within the club
Assessing the club environment and recommending best practices for success
Working with club leaders to develop a Club Success Plan
Encouraging the club to strive for Distinguished Club Program recognition

Club Coach 

The VP Public Relations handles maintaining and building the club's image. The role involves internal and external communications. 

The VPPR plans, organizes, and implements programs to maintain the positive image of the club and Toastmasters for all guests, members, and the general public. Common activities overseen include press releases, publicity campaigns, website maintenance, media representation, and club newsletters.

The Vice President Membership (VPM) manages the activities that sustain and increase the number of members in the club. The primary responsibilities of this role involve marketing and some administration.

The VPM plans, organizes, and implements a continuous marketing effort to ensure that club membership remains above club charter strength (20 members). This is accomplished both by retaining current members (working with the VPE) and by gaining new members (working with the VPPR). The VPM is responsible for the semi-annual membership reports to Toastmasters International and for keeping the membership roster and attendance records.
