Emory University School of Medicine

★  Provide vision and lead implementation of 31-member IT Division with a budget of $4.5 million. 
★  Centralized networking, tools, client support, desktop support and user resources. Ensured all university level, state and federal compliance mandates.
★  Integrated desktop management solutions across the School of Medicine to ensure IT patching for operating systems and security and to provide a central desk for call requests and ticketing. 
★  Implemented ServiceNow tcketing system to handle up to 11,000 tickets annually.
★  Increased student use of advanced technology tools including robotics to learn surgical techniques and to interact in an ER or surgical situation. 
★  Partnered with inner city hospitals and provided IT support for student physicians there. 
★  Restructured the audio-visual service strategy and team to better support both education and conference abilities. Ensured technology resources for 25 classrooms and 40 conference rooms.
★  Developed state of the art IT infrastructure and implementation for vaccine and pandemic research clinics.

★  Drove a transition strategy and hired a team to complete the implementation of the oil trade relocations. 
★  Ensured progression of project deliverables by providing strategies for technical development, operational use and support. 
★  Directed War Room operations for status management and dispatch of technical resources during the first phases of the transition for over 1,100 employees.

Senior Project Manager, BP Integrated Supply and Trading – Global Oil Americas

Mayo Clinic

★ Managed team charged with maintaining and optimizing systems for storing and receiving over 11,000 patient samples from reference labs daily. Verified lab requirements. 
★  Led a program to upgrade the laboratory information system which involved over 3,000 end-users and multiple external clients. Improved the receipt and verification process for medical sample distribution and achieved on-time completion of compliance gap analysis for CMS risk for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement compliance that involved 87 internal hospital and clinics.

★  Led several projects to upgrade data networks for over 60 pipelines and fuel logistics locations.  Manage a LAN infrastructure upgrade and WAN circuit stability resulting in improvements in network performance.

★ Managed upgrade projects for IT control systems for a national liquid petroleum network. Led the first tank farm automation project, which increased automation of processes by 45%. Optimized function in primary business areas by managing a network installation and system integration for a backup data center.
