I've held many roles within this organization and am currently focused on Learning & Development.

I help small, midsized, and large organizations to develop engaging and innovative learning solutions that directly address performance issues, fill emerging knowledge gaps, or prepare new employees for mission success. From needs analysis through evaluation (and as many iterations as are needed), I ensure learning objective achievement and compelling learning experiences.

A few recent projects include:

- Developed a 3-part employment series (in both English and Spanish) for YWCA Green Bay's Women's' Empowerment Center (using a grant provided by AT&T). The project involved use of PowerPoint, Movavi, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Bard AI, Revoicer AI, and Midjourney AI.

- Built a 7-part, comprehensive Writer's Training Program for MyPro Resumes using Rise 360, PowerPoint, and Adobe Captivate. This project was unique in that we needed to educate Writers on a highly subjective decision making process.

- Constructed a pre-boarding e-learning solution as part of my master's program at WGU. I employed Articulate Storyline, Synthesia AI, and PowerPoint to build custom videos, graphics, animations, and interactive elements for the course.

I've worn many hats and expanded my skills in diverse ways during this period of time. Primarily, I've hired, trained, and managed a 6+ member team of therapists and support professionals. I've also produced learning resources (e.g., job aids, videos, blog articles) for Independent Providers in the State of Idaho. 

A few highlights include:

* Maintained an average team member tenure of 3+ years in a field where most move on within 6 months. 

* Developed a niche nonprofit job board to connect Developmental Disability (DD) providers and individuals in need (www.therajobs.net). I then transitioned the site to become a provider resource repository when the state introduced a new job board option.

* Built an 800+ member Facebook group that connects local DD providers and families.

* Produced numerous blog posts, identified key sources of information, and created provider tools that encouraged new professionals to enter and thrive in the field.

Volunteer Instructional Designer │ Team Manager

Freelance / Self-Employed

Using deep knowledge of HR, Recruiting, corporate communications, technology tools, project management and business operations, I supported businesses and executives with a variety of activities, including:

* Project Management: I managed multiple client projects relating to contract review, records retention, vendor vetting, program implementation, business plan development and startup activities. I met with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), mapped current process, researched industry best practices, and collaborated with teams to develop, train for, and implement process improvements. I also created tools, job aids, company documents, and reports tailored to my client's needs.

* HR and Recruiting: I developed job descriptions, postings, and employment ads. I then sourced and screened candidates according to the employer's need. More specifically, I interviewed and recommended final candidates, managed candidate communications, and handled scheduling. I developed and maintained hiring manager tools, applicant databases, and metrics. I also consulted with management regarding HR practices and recruiting strategy. 

* Corporate Communications: I provided copy writing, proofreading, editing, and other communication services, including executive summaries, company emails, internal resumes, executive bios, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, and marketing materials.

Freelancer (Project Manager │ Recruiter │ Writer)

New York Life

I oversaw all aspects of recruiting for the Boise location of this Fortune 100 Company. This included:

* Sourcing and screening local candidates, conducting behavioral interviews, and selecting final candidates to meet with the Managing Partner.

* Developing and maintaining applicant databases, statistics, and recruiting materials.	

* Representing the Company at local events.

* Delivering more than 1,400 applicants, 200 final candidates, and 13 successful hires for the office's most difficult-to-fill roles.

Recruiting Coordinator (Project Manager)

Albertsons Companies

I was frequently tapped by leadership to lead important HR projects, from developing the project scope to researching best practices, engaging stakeholders, gathering feedback, managing action items, aligning decisions with company goals, and ensuring on-time and in-budget delivery. 

A few key projects were:

* I developed and implemented a training program for the company-selected recruiting technology solution across all divisions and distribution centers.

* I assisted in the selection of a new Corporate Recruiting team, following the department's reorganization, and trained all new team members (subordinates, peers, and management).

* I built tracking tools and reports to provide corporate staffing metrics. I also participated in the company's selection and implementation of it's first-ever companywide Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

* I assisted in optimizing the corporate new hire orientation program and delivered this Instructor Led Training (ILT) program on campus as needed. I also gave candidate and new hire tours of the campus.

* I co-created and executed Associate Career Fairs for the corporate office.

I also recruited candidates into multiple corporate functional areas for this (then) Fortune 35 grocery giant.  This involved building cross-functional relationships and guiding hiring managers through needs analysis, job description development, compensation determination, and the executive approval process.  I managed requisitions through sourcing, screening, and selection.  I also formed relationships with candidates and guided them through the recruiting process steps. Through continuous collaboration with hiring managers, functional HR Managers, Compensation, Relocation, Benefits, and other recruiters, I strategically planned for and delivered high potential candidates to the business.

Corporate Recruiter │  HR Project Manager (Instructional Designer)

As both a multi-certified HR Professional and a Learning Experience Designer, I've cultivated a deep understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and best practices surrounding employment, upskilling, and professional development. 

My background includes:

- developing and delivering interactive training programs for individuals, distributed teams, nonprofit organizations, and a Fortune 500 company.

- producing and delivering onboarding, technology implementation, workflow, and independent provider learning programs.

- solving complex business problems through active listening, comprehensive analysis, team collaboration, 
 and innovative solutions.

- coaching, mentoring, and motivating employees in traditionally high turnover fields.

- managing small scale, national, and international corporate projects in an efficient manner, ensuring on-time and in-budget delivery.

As an Instructional Designer, I partner with Subject Matter Experts to help organizations and individuals resolve performance challenges through engaging learning solutions.
