Communication is the bridge between us. It connects us, builds trust and creates understanding. To me, there’s nothing more important in the world right now than improving communication.

That passion has driven everything I’ve done in my professional life — from writing books to founding a copywriting firm to becoming an adjunct professor of communication. Adoption of interactive demos on B2B SaaS websites 6Xed this year. But not where you’d most expect.

In fact, use of interactive demos on dedicated product demo pages is about equal to 2024. But, interestingly (if you are a very niche nerd 🙋‍♀️ ) marketers are now including them on product and home pages at a much higher clip: 

Product pages: 62% vs 19% last year (3X)
Homepages: 48% vs 8% last year (6X)

As Jason Oakley pointed out on an advisor call, buyers now expect to explore your product well before the sales demo call. 

The majority of B2B SaaS using Navattic now feature interactive demos on their product pages. And nearly half feature them on their homepages. That’s crazy YoY adoption that seems to represent a bigger trend in B2B buyer behavior. Great opportunity, especially for product-led growth SaaS where interactive demos can act as light-weight freemium experience to further reduce buyer friction.  

This was one of many website best practices I noted from Navattic's 2026 report to inform our own Auror website refresh this year. I *know* the rest of you marketers are doing some sort of refresh and/or website “optimization” this year.
