📍  Call them evangelists
📍  Don't call it social media. Call it channels.
📍 Refer to them as megaphones for company messages, but with built in content.

Removes:
❌  biases that influencer aren't authentic or are just for B2C
❌  gives them a pathway to new audiences 
❌  any bias about social media not being a real place for marketing when you say channels (podcast, radio, mag & social media are all channels.) 

It's not trickery. 
It's the truth, just repackaged. 
Afterall, that's what marketing is...

The two most powerful letters in the English language are “TK”

TK is an editing mark that means “to come,” meaning you’ll fill it in later. Those two letters almost never occur next to each other in normal language, so it’s easy to surface anything you’re missing. 

But more importantly, TK is creative freedom. It’s flow state. It’s the ability to say “I know what I need here, but I’m not sure exactly what it looks like yet” without stopping the big idea from coming out.

You’ve got big goals for 2026, but you’re lying to yourself if you think you’ve got every detail of how they’ll come together planned out. So embrace it. Set your intentions and write your plans with “TK agency support,” “TK campaign,” “TK new job.” Just because you can’t see around the corner doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep moving forward.

You're a Luddite. And you probably don't even know it.

Luddites weren’t people who hated technology. They were a British workers movement who opposed the introduction of technology meant to suppress wages and reduce the quality of products. They were humans who disagreed with the goal of profit over everything else—and when negotiation failed, that opposition crossed over into real-world destruction of that technology, called machine-breaking.

So why do you think of being a Luddite as a bad thing? 

Mostly because the people in power were so threatened by this movement (which was really popular with workers and regular people) that they started shooting protestors and spreading anti-Luddite propaganda. Ultimately, the government joined forces with the captains of industry to suppress it completely with full legal and military force, including executing or transporting protestors to penal colonies overseas.

It is convenient for the people in power to maintain a culture where you are treated as backward or stupid to resist the introduction of technology that is expressly designed to restructure society and eliminate your means of making a living, because it makes it easier to dismiss your doubts and fears.

It makes you less likely to speak up to your employer.
It makes you less likely to insist on government regulation.
It makes you less likely to fight adoption, and more likely to speed it up.

I don’t have a real answer or conclusion to this. My job, like yours, depends on using tools I’m deeply skeptical about, which makes both resisting and giving in equally bad options. But it interests me to realize how scared those in power were of people who refused to go along with the march of technology, and the lengths they went to to suppress them. It makes me wonder what we're capable of if we start talking about this feeling; about the fear and nihilism that's building around us; about what it means for the future when there isn’t even a machine in front of us we can break.
