A video circulating online shows a robot stepping in as a shelving unit began tipping toward a young girl. The #robot moved into position, helping block the fall just long enough for adults to pull the child away—prompting many to claim the robot rescued her.

According to the company, the robot wasn’t programmed for rescue behavior. Why it reacted at that moment is still unclear.

Designed and manufactured a Flight-Control Gimbal System (FCGS) to safely test the flight dynamics of the flying-rolling vehicle (Figure 1), integrating a mechanism with slip-rings and encoders to measure roll, pitch, and yaw. 

Utilized FEA and optimized the system with carbon fiber for lightweight durability. I also assisted in the design and manufacturability of the Second-Generation Gimbal System (Figure 2), fabricating carbon fiber components to enhance performance.
